  anyone have an original X Pole X Pert?

  i seem to NOT have the cover section that covers the adjustment rod at the top of the pole. it slides over Pole A (the top pole), and just covers the adjustment rod. is this NEEDED or will I be ok without it? its a legit X Pole. if i do need it, anyone got one or know where i can get one? FYI i got this pole in excellent used condition last week and am finally trying to put it together and what not

  You don’t need it 🙂 I don’t bother putting the cover on my older xpoles.

  good! i was worried it was a necessary item and id have to scour he corners of the earth to find one. i figured it was just for appearance anyway, to cover the threaded part near the ceiling. thanks!!

  I’ve never used one on either of my poles. I have short ceilings so I need every little inch available. The adjuster cover covered the top few inches of my poles and I just don’t feel safe placing my weight on that piece, if it ever fell when you were on it you would be screwed!
