My baby is now 2 months old, so I decided to put my pole up again. To my horror I found that I have absolutely no strength in my arms any more! My first class back I only did level 1 spins and my body was so sore the next day I almost couldn’t move! But the part that worries me is that I can’t climb the pole. It hurts between my legs when I try to grip it. Any advice out there?

I was advanced through thirty weeks with my last. I too could barely climb after! No worries it comes back quick! I did 2x classes a week and was already showcasing at 11 months and all. (Although I did rush and some moves didn’t have proper form) it took awhile to polish those as I didn’t gave great guidance. I did have nice feedback but wished someone had said work on x y or z etc.congrats on your baby and good luck!

It can and will come back! I remember feeling the same way my first time back after baby. Make sure you’re drinking enough water and eating enough (especially if you’re breastfeeding). Start from the beginning and work back up into everything. If you have the lessons here, there’s a section called the 30 day take off program that would work well for you. Give it time! 🙂
