Does anyone know this move?
Posted by ntrujilloc41719 on July 10, 2014 at 4:44 pmdoes anyone know the name of the move where you start in either an inside or outside leg hook and then you rotate around to you belly basically in a hands free hold and keep rotating to where you end up in the opposite leg hook? If anyone has a video or demo of it to would be great! Hope that makes sense and thank you for the help

It sounds like you’re describing scorpio switches. I did it recently in my “Glory Box” video at 1:45. https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/53bcaa11-70e4-4b37-ae90-7a060a9aa0eb

I think it’s spinning Scorpio, rather than Gemini/Scorpio leg switches.

Whoops that’s not it in Veena vid but it is in Aerial Amy, if I’m thinking of the move you mean.

I have heard of it being called the scorpio let switches but the video I saw they only moved their legs and didn’t rotate to belly, @frenchornprof – yes that was basically it, but how we are learning to do it is to start high and do them several times down the pole. it’s a cool move, I need to pick up speed.

According to Pole Dance Dictionary, it’s a “dragonfly” that I believe u are talking about, so that’s what I’ve been calling it. Very useful move.

I am doing them in this video. https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/539a7c50-b1e0-4eea-bc4d-69270a9aa0eb
