Hey now everyone! So I've got a few ?s on how to use this site but first I'm gonna give y'all a little background info about me. So about 4 1/2 years ago I was messing around on youtube and I came across a pole dance video and decided I HAD to become a pole dancer. My wonderful ol' man surprised me w an x pole for xmas that year. He also got me Jamilla Deville's videos (eventually all 5) and I immediately became an addict. I got all the way to her 5th video (advanced moves) when we moved from Illinois to Northern California (almost 3 years ago). Unfortunately, we could only find a very, very small 2 bdrm house for a family of 4 (one boy, one girl) so me and my ol' man had to use the living room as our bedroom. Needless to say I did not have the room for my pole so I had to stop. Finally last spring we moved to a bigger place w a huge living room that gives me plenty of room to pole. In the last 8 months I have been trying to get back on the pole but become quickly discouraged and stop. After seeing myself in the mirror in a little tight dress (uggh!) a few nights ago I realized that it's time to get over myself and get back up on that pole. So I started up again but still found myself getting discouraged and then I remembered this site. So today I signed up (I used to read the forums back in Illinois but never got lessons from Veena), I figured something new might inspire me. I started today and even w the warm up I knew I made a good choice. The "newness" to Veena's approach is inspiring to me but I don't really understand how to work everything in. On my old videos there was a warm up, lessons, conditioning and then a cool down. But Veena offers soo much that I don't know how to work my workout. I started today w the beginners warmup and just continued from there until I got tired. Then of course I came across the conditioning part, the stretching part etc. So my ? is how do I know what parts to start w and what order to go in. The beginners lessons feels like conditioning long before I even got to the basic walks and spins so I got confused as to how far should I go and when should I switch to the other parts (conditioning, stretching etc.) Sorry to make this so long and I'm not even sure I'm getting my ? across correctly but I would appreciate any input on how y'all use this site.

    Thanks,

    Delia D
