So…I finally decided! Bobbi’s Portable Brass Pole!!!
Hi guys!
Some of you may have seen my previous thread about whether to get a 40mm Brass X-Pert or a Bobbi’s Portable Pole, 38mm Brass.
Not long ago, I did some hard research and got in touch with a few people at Bobbi’s who have used both poles and asked them via Facebook for their opinions. The Brass X-Pert ranked favourably.
I also had the chance to go a pole studio and try out their 40mm Brass X-Pert. It felt like the brass poles used at Bobbi’s except it was quite wobbly and the TG parts of the base, adjuster cover and dome were VERY obvious, making it quite a turn-off for me.I was also told by the studio owner and a friend of mine who also attends that studio that the Brass X-Pert they have at home feels very different to the one at the studio – a lot less grippier.
I was stuck on what to do.After weighing up the pros and cons of the X-Pert, I decided to go against it.
But the price tag of a brand new Bobbi’s Portable Pole was too much – $1000AUD or so including shipping!!!But…luckily I advertised on Bobbi’s page that I was looking for a secondhand Bobbi’s Portable Pole…
There was a girl who got in touch with me who was selling her almost new pole AND lived close by!!!I was thrilled!!
After 2 weeks or more of messaging, I finally met her on Sun, Oct 14th and can now announce that I am a proud owner of a Bobbi’s Portable Pole!!!!
I didn’t want to announce this on Facebook due to privacy reasons but I want to share my excitement amongst a group of people who also share this love for pole!!I bought it off the girl for an extremely attractive price, comparable to a brand new Brass X-Pert and am just thrilled she gave me such a great price for a pole that’s barely 6 months old!!!
I am soooo glad things worked out in the end and God granted this desire of mine!!!
I will put it up and to good use after I return from my upcoming holiday after Oct 29th and cannot wait to experience true grippiness!!!!! *Happy Dance*
