  Dome and ceiling height issues :(

  So my boyfriend and I moved in to my gram's old house. There is a TON of room to do pole. Except vertically. My pole is seriously a 1/2 inch too tall for the ceilings, and I'm not using any extensions. BEFORE I resort to buying a permanent ceiling mount OR a shorter extension to replace the top part of the pole. I'm looking for an alternative.

   

  Has anyone rigged your pole with an alternative ceiling mount without the dome? Anything homemade from Home Depot that actually worked?

  Your best bet for anything under 7’4″ is to get 750mm ext. Under $50 I believe, To replace b pole I wouldn’t “rig” anything you could do damage to your pole or cause it to be unstable
