So I have been holding off on discussing this but I have seen so many people wanting a 45mm pole in the last few days so I thought I would share. This seller is not claiming these are xpoles but the one I got clearly has an x on it. I would not claim for it to be so either but if it is a knock off it's a pretty damn good one.The only part that was missing was the adjustor cover and I purchased one from xpole for $15 to make it a complete pole. The seller also says they are new but mine was clearly used. If you are willing to take a chance and save some money this is an option. I thought the price was too good to be true especially with free shipping but I have not had an problems with this pole at all! Here is the link for those who might want to check it out.

The shipping was really fast too. My pole came within a week.

Those wrenches pictured make me believe it's not a legitimate X-Pole. From what I know about X-Poles (I have purchased new ones but not the old style ones), the only tools that come with the pole are 2 different size hex keys

If it's still safe, then great! But be careful!

That is the counterfit x pole that was out. They aren't made the same, so the joints can pinch you. Here is a good picture describing what is wrong with the poles.

The wrenches alone indicate it is not an x pole. The original x pole sometimes came with ONE wrench, but it looked like a normal wrench. You can also see that the rings on the dome are black in the photo (x poles are clear.)

What I was sent WAS an xpole. Maybe he bought it for a template to make these and I got lucky. Mine has the silicone base unlike what they show in the video. Came in an xpole box with the tube covers and all. I’ll take some pics later so you ladies can let me know if it’s real. I really am thinking it was a beautiful fluke that I was sent this pole at this price.

My poles is a fake, but u sure can’t tell it. It was all the x packaging, CD, clear rubber ring etc. When I purchased it I didn’t know there was real or fake or even what an an x pole is. I have since been on many real ones and u can tell the difference in the way they feel, how they r put together etc. I will use may fake for now, but going forward will invest in a real.

Let me clarify, it is very difficult to tell the difference, unless you actually use a real and a fake. I  LOVE the way a real x-pole feels, just more sturdy and quality built, not to mention the ease of putting it up and taking it down.  I will get a real x with my next purchases.  I think many newbies don't know much about poles, such as what I did, and ended up making a purachase of a fake.  🙁

YES!!!  Next pole will be from YOU!!!!  I think I actually had my pole a few weeks before stumbling upon this great site.  But for ANY NEWBIES who haven't purchased a pole yet, better to be safe than sorry.  In the long run you will be glad you bought a "real" pole!

The fakes have since been redesigned to have clear silicone rings…

I truthfully didn’t expect a real one. Like I said, they were not advertised as such. Just lucky and happy to have gotten what I did. If I ever do buy another it would be from Veena. I have thoroughly enjoyed this community she has made. She deserves the business! :0)
