Just wonder how expensive it would be to ship from Aussie?

I thin i read on the FB post that u need tosend them ur pole and they apply it in a factory. Someone else asked how much and the guy said he would inbox a price. So i bet this is a VERY expensive process. Plus is is permanent. Think I would just spray paint or powder coat me pole…..which i did and love the extra grip.

Aw, it sounded like it would be like a sleeve that you could slip on over your pole. D:

I had hoped it was a removable sleeve that you could slip on when you want different grip, If I had mutltiple poles then I might look into this…

XPoles are $350 plus shipping…..that is your own XPole shipped to Australia and then shipped back.  OUCH.

If any of you have the silicone covers for your phone or ipod, that is essentially what this is.

You have to send your pole to them and they put the sleeve on. And it's pretty pricey…close to the price of an xpole 🙁 I might look into one in the future though, might be worth it to have one just to learn new moves on that require a good grip solid grip.

Yay! Finally a sleeve that is NOT permanent. You can order one to fit over your pole…turn it into a Chinese pole or take it off and have the metal again. They say it doesn't affect the spinning or anything. Check polesleeves.com – can't wait to try one out!

Where are people getting that it's a permanent thing? And that you have to ship the pole?

    http://polesleeves.com/about-polesleeves/

    "REMOVABLE POLE SLEEVE™

The best part is this is a non-permanent solution. Put it on when you want and take it off when you don’t want to use it – keeping your pole intact. "  ??

Also, $250 is the price of a chrome pole, but if you already know chrome doesn't work for you, why buy another one?

They were talking about another product in the beginning of this thread. Not pole sleeve. Grip tease.

I want a permanent option. Can you make POLE SLEEVES™ permanent?

YES! We love that POLE SLEEVES™ can be taken on and off without permanently affecting your pole, but if you are looking for a permanent solution with an amazing grip, http://polesleeves.com/contact-us/ for a quote on making a POLE SLEEVE™ a permanent addition to your pole.

I would love to get one but $250 is steep! $150 would be much more reasonable. However, given that the slipperyness of even my brass pole is what makes pole my least favorite aerial apparatus, it might be worth it. Looking forward to the review!

$250 honestly isn’t that bad if u think about it. U save money on grip, get in much more practice time cuz you aren’t in pain and don’t have to stop to dry off

I agree. For a softer easier on the body workout to help with moves, it is worth it to me AND mine would be 350 because of taller ceilings! I am getting one though. Looks like it takes a while to get once you order it though.

Is it just me or does the pole sleeve look like it adds a significant amount to the diameter of the pole?

I think it’s 3/16″ thick, so yeah, almost 1/2″ in diameter.

It says on the websight that it does add to the diameter. I have personally never tried one, but they say that even with small hands it does not bother the grip at all. Maybe because it is soft? I can't wait to try one!

Doing the calculations, it converts the pole to the next size up roughly. 45 becomes a 50, 40 becomes a 45, 38 become 43.
