    My back feels better but I’m very nervous…any suggestions on building lower back strength besides core exercises since I already do that…

    My PT had me doing a standing lower back exercise. Find some sort of stick (you can use a broom; I use a hiking stick.) Stand up straight with the stick in yoru hands at your thighs. Keeping your chip up and back straight, bend at the hips and brush the sick down your legs until you are parallel to the ground. Still keeping your chin up, use yuour lower back and hips to raise your upper body to standing again, brushing the stick on your legs. The stick is just to help force you to keep your back flat the entire time.
