  • Slightly inflamed wrist and small nodules, but NO pain…

I was instructed on the iron x with the twisted split grip and I was able to perform it several times, but I only stayed up for seconds. Within days I noticed that I had isolated swelling in the center of my wrists. The swelling is not even apparent unless I extend my wrist. On the wrist that was on top I have a lot more swelling than the wrist that was on the bottom. I have also noticed a few little bumps or nodules in the wrist that was on the bottom. The peculiar thing is that I really have no pain and I did not have any pain after attempting the move. I can still pole, still invert and put pressure on my wrists and still move them in every direction without pain, but the swelling is still concerning because they have been this way for over a month. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Let me preface this by saying i am nit s doctor or an expert…

Swelling can be a sign of tendinitis. I’ve read that pain with tendinitis is delayed as well. Ice your wrist tonight, then go talk to a doc to see what’s up with it.

I have tendinitis on the thumb side of my wrist and though my wrist will feel okay one day, if I do much as do a pole hold it will get angry.
