Head Over Heels NC Showcase 2012… NEWS & Performance Opportunities!

We are in the process of planning a pole showcase to kick off the new & improved Head Over Heels event series of 2012 (Raleigh, NC)! Dates & venue are still in the planning stages however here's a little heads up – showcase performance spots will be limited AND we will be doing a video audition to select our performers for our showcase event.

All skill levels will be welcome & encouraged!!! We want our showcase to highlight the variety of skills, styles, stories, themes & women out there who are pole fitness loving divas. This first event WILL NOT be a competition, so any pole enthusiasts (from students to instructors) are encouraged to submit. This post is a heads up to start working on your videos NOW as the process will begin SOON =)
This is a great opportunity for ladies who are looking to begin performing or competing to "brush off the cobwebs" or practice getting up in front of a crowd! We especially encourage ladies who are interested in competing in Head Over Heels 2012 (TBA fall 2012) to consider being a part of this showcase!

VIDEO SUBMISSIONS WILL REQUIRE TWO PARTS:
(1) 45-60 seconds: We want you to tell us WHY you feel you deserve a spot in the showcase – think about the following questions: How has pole dancing impacted your life? Why do you want to perform? Who inspires you? Who do you want to perform for? What would being a part of Head Over Heels mean to you? This is important because you will be a pole ambassador at our event and we want to hear YOUR STORY & how much you want to be there! ♥
(2) 1.5 – 2 minutes: A video of you performing pole or pole fusion (ie: pole + chair, pole + bellydance, etc). We are not necessarily looking for the most powerful trickster out there, but instead somebody who can embody the strength & message of the pole dance community as well as demonstrate interesting, unique dance styles… so BE YOURSELF! =)

**NOTE: Deadline for videos will be announced as soon as a venue location & date has been finalized. Sorry, but videos over three minutes long in total will not be considered.
