Gripe stength problem?
Hello,
I am taking classes at a studio for 4 weeks. We do these strengthening exericse where you wrap your hands around the pole and engage your biceps until you have the ability to pull yourself up. We had a different instructor last week who wanted us to jump up. I found out I can hold my own body weight but my hands just slide down the pole. My hand slid fast down the pole when I do try spins, and I have to wipe my hands off on my clothes all the time due to claminess every couple of spins. Last night we each got our own pole and after about 15 min I was almost stuck to the pole during spins and getting red hands from the excess friction. Does anyone know what might be going on and a way to fix it?
My ideas were poor grip strength, hand claminess, hands too warm. Thanks for any help
