New lessons – update
Hi, I was just wondering if there is anyway that we could be notified when new lessons are added to the site. I have gone through all the lessons (they are brilliant) but I don't go back everyday to see if there have been any changes.
Perhaps a message could go out saying something like, "new lesson added to conditioning or stretching" I am not sure if I am the only one on here looking for new lessons but I know that if there are new lessons being made or uploaded, I would love to be notified.

Don´t you get the newsletter? If there are new lessons the newsletter will let you know 😉 It´s right at the beginning of the message.

When can we see some new advanced lessons? Is there a way to make suggestions?

I would love some new advanced material also. Or perhaps you could add lessons/tricks on how to combine moves together and what you could do (trick-wise) before and after each of the tricks/pole moves that you have just taught.

I don’t think the moderators even pay any attention to these threads about girls asking for new lessons.
There is quite a few threads on the forum asking about when new POLE lessons will be put up and people putting in requests & suggestions but nobody has bothered to give a proper reply as to WHEN this will be happening OR what we have to look forward to!!!
I posted a message on veenas wall to ask but looks like she just ignored it.
Seems everyone is wanting the same thing…..MORE ADVANCED LESSONS!!!!! Does anyone know when these will be put up??

Well, Veena replied to this thread twice. She just updates lessons not to long ago. I am sure it takes a lot longer than we think to get new lessons together. I too, hope to see some new ones soon. I am sure she will let us know what is coming and when as soon as she even knows.

Veena haven't put new pole lessons for a while, but she had done a lot of stretching and conditionning lessons. And Hoop lessons too. I know that for the one who are waiting for advanced moves it's seem really long. But remember that is take a lot of time to make each lesson and that she's a busy wife and a mother of 4.
I hope we have some new stuff soon but meanwhile, if any of you want to learn a new moves you can always ask help on the forum or have a chat or skype session. A lot of girls will be more than happy to help you achieve your new moves https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Luvlee- yes she replied to the thread but not about WHEN the lessons will be put up!!
Veena- can we get a time frame on that? Yes I realize there has been new lessons for other things put up, but that’s not what I’m interested in…when exactly do you plan on putting up new advanced pole lessons?
A week? A month? 6 months? 1 year? -
Tiggertail- no offense but maybe the time would be better spent making pole lessons instead of making fancy movies.

shebangs, you do realize we are talking about 2 people here that have a life and children, right? We are not talking a huge production company. Hell, it took Alethea almost 2 years to get her videos out. The MAJORITY of us want the stretching and conditioning videos….we realize there is more to pole than just tricks.
And even if you meant no offense to Tiggertail, I took offense to thinking you could come to this forum and talk nasty about poeple who we hold near and dear to our hearts.

It was a simple question – WHEN will advanced lessons be put up. And I was hoping for an honest answer!
But of course this forum are always keen to avoid the question at hand and the angry mob attack!
I own DVDS for routines, stretching, conditioning, foam rolling, splits etc etc etc. I don’t care for hooping! The only lessons I would use on this site is the ADVANCED lessons – that is why I am asking.
That is all I have to say, I will not be replying to anything on this forum again.
Honestly I do not give 2 craps what you have to say chemgoddess!!! Go and shove your opinion down someone else’s throat.
Doesn’t seem I’ll get a normal honest answer here so guess I’ll stick to my DVDs and YouTube, at least I don’t run the risk of being attacked for asking a genuine question.
You guys can keep your forum because it sucks due to the people like “chemgoddess”. -
@shebangs- A lot of times when Veena has something new on the site she will post a message in the newsfeed on facebook. If you're a member of facebook you might want to "like" StudioVeena. That's another great way to stay up to date in case you don't get the email newsletters. If there's specific moves you'd like help with, you can always private message Veena and put in a request for those moves in lessons. There are also a lot of ladies that offer online skype private lessons as well. I don't want to go around and advertise who on this site in order to respect Studio Veena and their business but you can almost always find the people I'm referring to by googling online skype pole lessons or searching something very similar.

@ shebangs your behavior is totally uncalled for. Chem is one of the many members who are always there to help answer questions and offer help.

@shebangs – The lessons that are on this site represent thousands of hours of work in development, production, and refinement. Veena tends to add lessons seasonally as we have time to record and produce them and our current library has more content than any DVD set you could buy.
We will not ever commit to a timeline for delivery of lessons as we stand on the value of our product as it is and don't try to sell it based on future plans that may or may not be realized.
I do take extreme offense to your assertion that Veena should spend more time making lessons and less time expressing her creativity. Veena is a whole person, and the great majority of her time is spent nurturing people in one way or another. Four children and over thirty-thousand website members would be emotionally draining for anyone yet Veena handles it with great aplomb. She, like anyone, needs a creative outlet to maintain her motivation in all other areas of life.
I'm also unsure why a non-paying member would be so disgruntled over our lack of response on this topic and why said non-paying member would be seemingly upset that Veena takes some time to express herself. I'm also unsure why you would take the time to quite blatantly attack members of our site who have never shown anything but love and support for the community as a whole.

Wow shebangs. That’s an awful lot of hate you’re spewing. And as an apparently “non-paying member,” perhaps you could simply put the money you already aren’t spending on veena’s lessons into some one on one advanced instruction rather than making demands and spewing insults.
Your attitude is callous and completely uncalled for. The basic functions of this website are included in a free service which you are using. If you are dissatisfied with your experiences using a free service, you have the liberty to no longer use the free service. But know that if you insult a member of the community, a community which has welcomed you always, then you are sincerely underestimating the strength of the bonds that run through this community; most of us will not tolerate attempts to poison the water, and you will see repercussions for attempting to do so.

Wait, I’m new here so I’m a little confused. I thought you had to be a paying member to see Veena’s videos? How does She see them as a non-paying member? Are there certain vids that can be viewed by non paying members? Is there another way to pay besides Paypal?

I just have to say I am amazed at what Veena and Webmaster manage to accomplish! Advanced tricks are helpful for some, but stretching, conditioning, etc benefit all of us. I am grateful they think enough of us to help us be safe well rounded polers. Also attacking lovely members on a forum is out of line and immature. Lastly, I anxiously await Veena’s videos…her dance videos. They are inspiring and in them she shares herself with us. It wouldn’t be the same without seeing her love of pole and her members.
