    HI everyone,

I'd love to know you like to get in and out of the Superman move? I'm trying to do new new things with that move.

Outs: Use arms to pull back close to pole, dove, superman drop.

Thats all I can remember for now but I know there are more 🙂

I personally like to get into it from either the Gemini or a tuck (maybe the same as a side V?).  I prefer to get out of it with either the Dove/Aerial Shoulder Mount, if I want to continue up the pole, or a Hip Hold, if I want to travel back down the pole. 🙂

Ellen- you just pull up and get the shoulder over like you were going into a hood ornament or setting up to go into a chopper from superman. Once the pit grip is secure, you pull the legs up and open in a V to the Teddy. I’d never thought of it until I saw David do it.

Ooo RikkiL – how do you come out into a Hip Hold??  Is it similar to the drop into a Scorpio?

Caitlin, it is similar to dropping into the Scorpio. You put your bottom hand back on the pole to push with so you can direct your body, then tuck your head. It’s a little easier to do than to explain! 😉

There are so many tricks you can do to get in and out of the superman. I don't think I've seen this one before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c05iIVAaNDc at 3.00

i tried a new variation to get out today, too. i saw it in a youtube video, but i can´t remember in which…

you grab the pole with both hand behind you very close to your bottom with your thumbs pointing down (thumbs not around the pole – similiar to true grip) the you keep your upper body straight while you slowly lower your legs into a vertical position in front of the pole.

hope you understand what i mean… i´ll try to find the video mayve later ^^

Becca Burcher also has an awesome way to get into superman that I remeber Bertysbooboo posting a video about:
