I really want to create some sort of pole dancing show or event in my area, since there arent many of them. Im just having trouble figuring out exactly what i want to do. I dont know if i want it to be just some sort of showcase, where people can free dance if they choose, or for it to be like a real show, where everyone has themes and routines. Any ideas?

If you do a theme, then the show will be a bit more under your control, I think.  Plus, the audience will be more into the story of it.  How about doing a theme like a travel agency?  Travel to Exotic Lands…you could even make posters that look like the old travel posters like these:

Then all the performers could choose a different place to represent or even the type of travel (like a train.)  You could use songs like Janet Jackson's Escapade (or any vacation/I wanna getaway type song) before the show starts to set the mood.

Oh good!  I'm glad you like it.  Lol–maybe your show hosts or ticket takers can be dressed like they are on that new Pan Am show that's coming out this fall.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oyXRLCGnKw&feature=related

Be sure to post the event on Studio Veena's events page so those of us in So Cal can try to come and support you!
