i have a bunch of pleasers.  it depends on the shoe honestly.  some run small and some r right on target.  i cant find any in 1/2 sizes.  where r yu checking them out?  i use shoebuy. com cuz they give 30% off but 6pm.com is having a clearance sale and the prices are super cheap.

According to the Pleaser site these only come in full sizes.  From my experience it is better to go smaller than larger.

They are American sizes I believe and they are different to British sizes.  Look up an international shoe size  conversion chart and go from there.  If you are buying locally ask if they are resized to British sizes.

I think it depends on the model, just like Kat pole princess said! I have one pair which is true to size and one which runs a bit small! But I'd advice you to pick the size you normally have since it is possible to expand the shoe a little when you use them. Good luck:)

I would go smaller rather than bigger.  If the shoe you  are looking at has has a plastic top then you can put them in the oven or take a blow dryer to them to stretch the plastic out.  I did that all the time when I danced.

I agree with Chemo…go smaller. I have some that I love but they are in my true size (7) and they are stretched out…

Even more confused now, some say bigger some say smaller and some say they are true to size, I just ordered some in a 6 1/2 so fingers crossed they will fit.. cant wait for the postman to deliver them.. My first pair of Pole shoes.. I went for Pleaser Allure 609 clear platform and black top…

So may gorgeous shoes. really want a red pair too.. I can see a shoe obsession happening quite quick her..lol!

    Hey Sue,

I notice that you are from England. Where have you got yours from? I have had to use ebay but can't find many different styles. I'm a size 3 – 4 so ordered a 3.5 and they fit fine. They are so much more comfertable than I ever imagined they would be.

Hi Shacko. you can get shoes from clubseen.co.uk

     I ordered mine from   http://www.wearifudare.co.uk,

I did come across a few sites that sold in the uk.. I did look on Ebay but they did not have the ones I wanted, Amazon had some but were more expensive..

Just hoping they do fit..  I will let you know when they arrive…x

I ordered smaller only because I have about 7 or 8 pairs in my TTS fit of a size 7 and if you weren't doing a whole lot in them–some walking and standing they would be okay but the ones I actually "use" for moves–and I am right foot dominant—they have stretched out, the plastic on top, and have not recovered.  When I first got the size 6, they were absolutely snug, but not for long.

Hope that clarifies a bit https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Oh, thought I had better add that a group of us who were doing a number together in a showcase last year all got Pleaser 609 and a lot of them got sizes that were quite small and when it came to floorwork they had problems as their toes were hanging out quite a lot over the edge.  They said it was very painful.

I think it's really easy to not actually know your correct shoe size… I was mesured at a shoe store once and they said I was a six so for years I bought size sixes and slowly developed a sheer hatred for shoes in general becuse every single pair of every shoe was uncomfortable. Then I borrowed my sister-in-law's vaulting shoes one practice and was amazed to find how comfortable a size five was lol.

The only shoes I have that are not a five are my Nike Shox – which run really small so I bought the six – I do wear them with my husband's socks tho…

I usually wear sz 7 American (sometimes 7.5 if they run small) and I have the 609 model as well as a couple others from Pleaser.  I find that the 609 model is more roomier around the toes than my other shoes. They seem a little wider than my other shoes as well. I haven't noticed them stretching at all and I have had them for 3 years now and use them frequently. They are my favorite and most comfy shoes of all of them.

Jenn, sues, I have the exact same Pleasers! (Allure 609, black top, clear platform) 🙂 I have size 8 (US) and they fitted perfectly but over time I noticed that the strap stretched and now my foot kinda rides about 1/2 inch forward, my toes are sticking out over the edge of the shoe. My heel isn't were it should be and it looks a bit weird (like a small girl in mommy's shoes! LOL). Sues, I hope yours will be ok, keep us posted.

Oh, sues, I don't want you to get me wrong, Pleaser shoes are great and very comfortable! 🙂 I've just had this particular pair for quite some time and I think I need a replacement as the sole is starting to wear off as well.

I"m a size 10, flat feet. I bought pleasers and the left shoes is tighter and plastic top part is tighter. Anyone else's? I love them though but this is really noticeable. Don't know if I want to send them back yet. My toes are hanging out on left side, as happen to others. My left heel feels over too.

I have had this happen; it is either a manufacturing defect or sometimes if you buy shoes on clearance the right shoe has been tried on a bunch of times and therefore stretched out.  Also, genetically, one side of your body is larger than the other (typically dominate side is larger).

    Hey Chem,

Thanks for the info. They are brand spanking new. Will they take back manufacturing defects? I am dominant on right side.

As long as the shoes have not been worn they should.
