Music for lap dancing
Posted by Polkadotpoler on February 1, 2011 at 10:36 amI did a lap dancing workshop with Elisabeth from Live Once at the weekend which was awesome. In the workshop she used really sultry music but I can't remember any of the songs and I am having a hard time finding stuff I like. I have googled and tried iTunes but nothing I like. I want it to be along the lines of Ginuwine – Pony.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Look up some old Prince music.
Portishead-Glory Box
MIMS-This is Why I'm Hot
Joe Cocker-Leave Your Hat On
!!!- There's No F-in' Roles Dude
Juvenile-Slow Motion
Lizz Wright- I Idolize You
Lucinda Williams- Unsuffer Me
Marily Manson- Just a Car Crash Away
Eagles-Those Shoes
Ted Nugent-Stranglehold
On Itunes look up S Factor playlists. I know there are a bunch that have been put up by students and teachers alike.

Almost anything from Ciara's Goodies album, especially the title track.

Oh, and also Rihana's Rude Boy, although I am pretty much sick of that one myself, it was done to death at my pole studio last year, lol!

Love, love, love them!
Now, Chemgoddess1 – How do I find a playlist on iTunes? Is it one of the celebrity playlists?

There is a feature called imix. I cannot access it while I am at work or I would guide you step by step.
Here is something I found on the web:
Open the iTunes store, and click Music in the upper left.
A section appears just below the upper left, called "More in Music" and you'll see iMix in there. There's over a million of them, and you can browse through or search by different criteria.I know that both Veruca and Amy from here have mixes.
I love bluesy type music….it just makes me want to grind. AC/DC is good for that (check out Ride On).

Totally not happening on my iTunes. I can find 'more in music' at the bottom right of the page but nothing at all for imix. I googled it and I think there is an issue with using Canadian iTunes. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

Lapdance by N.E.R.D
Rev 22:20 (any version) by Puscfier

I downloaded Rev 22:20 and I LOVE it, so much so that I downloaded two versions.

I went on itunes and look for s factor playlists. and could not find any? If u could help me out that would be great.
cheers

I cannot find imix any more either….not sure what happened to it. I was however able to type veruca and S Factor into the search bar and toward the bottom left I got a list of playlists. I have used stripper, lap dance, and pretty much any other sexy words to find music on itunes.

I do not know how to post a link from itunes here but when I typed S Factor into the search bar I got about 30 hits under playlists.

@polkadot there are 3 versions to that song. Theres a Dry Martini Mix – its very slow and sensual, and music is beautiful. Another one was remixed for the Saw II soundtrack – dark and mysterious. My husband prefers that version out of all of them. The final one was made for the Underworld Soundtrack – its a faster beat and really sounds like it would of fit the character and movie.

two of my favorite songs for lap dances are:
Lick by Joi
and…
Relief – A Stripper Classic by Me'Shell Ndegeocello

I've decided I really want Painted on my heart by The Cult from Gone in 60 Seconds but it isn't on iTunes https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif
Minicoopergrl – I downloaded the Dry Martini Mix and I presume the original. I like them both and couldn't decided which one I liked more.

Sooooo, I went to buy it but because we are in Canada and using a British account it won't let me buy it. You wouldn't think buying a song would be so damn difficult.

@polkadot: well, you've tried everything else … but there's one thing you haven't! Go to Google, type in "free youtube to mp3", and download the programme (DVD Video Soft is quite a good one I heard). -> With it you can download any song from youtube that you can't buy anywhere! For free! I, too, have used it for some songs I am not able to buy in Europe. I don't want to do any advertising here, for it's free anyway, and yes, it's kind of illegal I guess. But sometimes it's the last chance, and it works https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Hiya Polkadotpoler! Here in South Africa, accessing online music is ridiculously difficult! We have no iTunes, and a lot of sites won't allow downloads for our region. One that we found does work is http://www.gomusicnow.com. Songs are cheap and easy to search for, and I've never had a problem downloading. Not sure if it is legal…
