I am so excited to announce the next event for Metro Detroit Pole Showcase Sponsored by Michigan Pole Dance and PoleFIT Revolution.

I want to thank all of you who plan on coming – it's so cool to finally get to meet some of you in person for the first time and see those of you who I haven't seen in forever again.
We've got a really fun filled night plan with performances and a raffle.

A couple of questions though:
1) What kind of poles will there be (brass, stainless, chrome, floor mount, portable stage, stuff like that).
2) Did I send my song to the right email? It's an MP4 and I can't compress it (iTunes purchase, no ITunes Plus available for it), so is it still usable by your DJs? Should I bring it on a CD and a flash drive?

Hi! We will be on 50mm chrome X-stages. I was hoping to find a venue where we could install X-perts but the venue was too small – the max capacity was 120 ppl and I didn't feel like that would be comfortable for people.
If you sent me an MP4A – I can still use it and Melanie sent me your file – so no worries.
If you have an Itunes purchase you can turn it into an Mp3 by going under advanced options and you should have the option to make an Mp3 version. I know it's confusing and I just recently learned this, lol!
I'll convert it for you but please bring a back up CD too. Just in case something goes wring with the DJ's computer or I mislabel music which has happened before or in one case I looked at the registration and downloaded the song but it ended up being the wrong song because the artist and song were switched.

I am so busy being worried about my performance I am trying to balance it out with my absolute EXCITEMENT at meeting fellow polers who (besides Charley) I have never met in person. I have no one around me who shares my interest so it will be nice to hang with ppl with likeminded thinking! My husband is very good at expressing interest but it is not the same. My husband is driving me and attending…anyone elses husband/SO will be there?
