  Metal Fabrication

  I’m curious to know if anyone has ever used a metal fabrication shop to make a pole. I’m wondering if it might be cheaper than ordering a pole for a 15 foot ceiling. And if the shop is local, wouldn’t they have a huge truck in order to transport such a long pole, thereby cutting down on shipping costs? Anyone have any experience in this?

  The cheapest that I have ever found poles is through Markstaar. Most metal shops are not going to carry 2" stainless pipe so it will need to be special ordered.
