The Great Midwest Pole Jam
Date: Saturday, August 7, 2010
Time: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
Location: New Lenox, Illnois (50 minutes south of Downtown Chicago)

Description
The first ever Midwest Pole Jam will be held on Saturday August 7th in the suburb of New Lenox, Illinois (50 minutes south of downtown Chicago)

Join Mary Ellyn Weissman, Michelle Mynx, Kate Dohl and representatives from various studios of the Midwest.

Open to both male and female pole dancers alike! Share skills in an open format and meet others who share your love and interest in pole dancing.

Specialty workshops will be offered before the jam and on Sunday – more information soon!

Open to pole dancers only…no observers. Prices to follow.
More information on guests and attendance and registration to follow.

We’re still in the early planning stages but we’re so excited about this event! It’s going to be great and the first time we’ll have everyone together in the Midwest! We have some great dancers in the Midwest – this will be loads of fun!

Actually I was under the impression that was a Studio Veena Jam as it wasn’t advertised for anyone else to join it and this is open to everyone on multiple forums and on Facebook and my mailing list.

Empyrean, the impromptu SV pole jam was for anyone to join in, https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif calling it a SV pole jam would never mean only members are welcome. Not sure why there’s assumption I would be so exclusive. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif It was last minute and was posted on FB but not as an event….my pole jam was just a free, fun, get together because I was coming back for a visit. In fact, not all who attended were members.

As I said, it’s not really a big deal. Not like it’s a competition with anyone…I simply put the word "First" in the original description as I never realized you had even called your gathering a "Midwest Jam" so thought this was the first.

The word "first" has been removed so no one should be upset now…it’s still a Midwest Pole Jam though and yes we have people coming from all over for this so it looks great. For a lot of people just the chance to see Gravity Plays Favorites will be a first.

I’m looking into other plans around this which is why I’m not confirmed on the prices as of yet. I want to see what sort of response we get first.
