eCan anybody out there help me with a release and waiver of liability form for pole parties. Please https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif

I’ve recently started advertising private lessons and pole parties and it’s starting to pick up. Up until now I’ve never made my students sign any waivers and I’ve had no insurance for the one performance I did a while back.
I know, that’s REALLLYY risky. It’s only a little side thing I do but I know that’s no excuse to protect myself.

If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it. My email address is mailto:heinykin@msn.com

    Thanks in advance!!!

Do you have insurance yet? I am not sure the laws in Australia – you might want to talk to someone in law enforcement. I could only give you an idea of US law and our waivers don’t mean as much as they should.

    Hey Charley,

No, don’t have insurance. I have a feeling waivers don’t mean that much here as well.

I’ll try again with different insurance companies and see if anyone will insure me. I went throught an insurance broker and he couldn’t help me so I guess I’ll have to do the leg work myself.

I know this thread is pretty old, but does anyone still have a waiver they could share? I have experienced friends and people I meet at the local studio come over and practice at my house and I feel like it would be something good to have. If someone has something I can PM you with my email.

    Thanks!

Princess, no waiver will hold up in court if someone gets hurt at your house.

Your insurance company provides you with a waiver.
