And we got on the topic of fitness. So I told him that I pole dance his reply was so when do you work there if your work here friday saturday and Sunday :/ lol when I told him its not a strip club its a pole dance studio he then looked rather confused. Im begging to think that most mens minds work the same. Pole + women = stripper

Hi.with the jade there is a great tip on areil anus tutorial for jade splits. I cnt do the splits but my jade is ok considering. You dnt want you hips square. ill look for the link to it for you

hi hazle thank you foryour comment. The reason I posted this disscussion is for all your great advice. My promlem with elbow grip and forearm is my lower arm just does not feel safe. Were as split grip I seem to have cracked the push pull and feel totaly safe.gone try handspringw cumins down from the pole first see how I get on with that 🙂 xxx

He tricki yes I can do shoulder mount. I do my core training in straight leg lift and a tuck bk down can’t do straight leg no down yet it brings me down to fast were I want to be cuming down slowly to give me the chance to go back up again . I’m working on my backhook into shoulder mount to but its not there yet. Xxx

Found where I’m going wrong in the splitgrip ayesha I wasn’t tilting my head bk I was trying to look up so can now hold it in tuck 🙂 amazing how one small alteration changes things 🙂

Everywhere I look for ayesha tutorial I can only find elbow grip nuthing else and I’m not to keen on elbow grip. I started the hand bring so I slowly learn this I can go up on twisted grip and hold for a few secounds in a took but I read sumwhere that it can be putting a lot of strain on joints so dnt want to do it that way tbh. But my pole teacher is about to have a baby and most people in my class do it that way so there no one to show me the normal way. My ayesha just seems to scare me in elbow grip or forarm where as split grip is very comfortable I feel totaly safe so trying to work it from EB. Think I’m gone have a look at veenas lessons.

Hi would just like to say first I have not injured any wrist when I started poling I didn’t understand the bracket grip amy corrected me on this I was holding all the weight on the bottom arm witch was causing a shooting pain in the wrist I wasn’t pulling with the top arm. Hey chem I understand your worry as I have only been polling for 3 month. I had a lot of physical fitness before starting pole witch has helped a lot with my classes. I pole 5 nites a week for 2 to three hours and do strenth training 3 days a week. At my pole class a lot of people are amazed at what I can do since only beeing there so short. But I think everyone learns at diffrent speeds and pole just seem to come very naturly to me.I hold split grip perfectly fine.

Im going to try them. I did try one tonite after pole.but one of my legs is doing sumthing werd. I did my resistance stretch I proped one leg on pole then the other I pull towards me while my hands push away then I push away and try to ressist with my leg but as I’m pushing it bk down I get this strange lock feeling that I have to push through n it kills right at the top not sure how I have done it. I first noticed it a few week ago doing my jade splits. The leg that goes away my left leg hurt as I brought it down. Does ne off that make sense to you lol

dnt say sorry I just have one off them brains that just follows how its wrote and not actully think about it logicly. If some one wrote you do this move buy rapping your big toe round the pole id be there trying to wrap the toe around before even thinking how do you do that :/

Thankyou after reading it ï squated an was looking thinking ok my knees are over my toes that right but how a earth do I now get my hips over my knees. You can imagenthe the position I was trying to get into hips litrally over my knees lol. Know wounder it didn’t work lol. Ohh I will check the video out I was moaning about my wobbly bits yday 🙂

My pole instructor is due to drop in december she now just teaches begginers but she been polling for years and took part in the studios work record for longest pole dace relay at 12 week . A 8 week pregnant women came to class and she turned her down. Her fear was being new to pole a nasty bang or anything to belly. I’ve slipped on spins b4 when lost grip. My opion is wait till baby here. Then start proper I couldn’t think of a better way to get rid of baby weight. You got sumthing beutiful and amazing growing dnt risk it your pole will be there in 9 month still. That’s my advice any way hope this helped xxx congrats too 😀

Abcollins this may sound like a daft question im like the worlds worse person when it cums to squats.but what do you mean buy keep your hips over your knees. Xx
