So I finally got my x-Pole stage set up and ready to go. I am so glad it got this! Anyway, I put up my silks with pole (PoleSilks) and tested it out. It’s actually stable!! Here is a short video of a few spins and tricks so you can see for yourself.
I still need to test it at full height.. over 9 feet. This is at less then 8 ft. Even though it looks wobbly it’s really doesn’t feel like it at all when you’re on it. Lots of fun!!

I agree that it fades. Plus it starts to get too stretchy.
There was another thread about shorts. You might want to think about the girls who don’t like to show to much but still want to be sexy. I know I am one of them. I have too much junk in the truck and want to find shorts that don’t ride up.As for sports bras, look into the one shoulders. Those are really popular but make sure you have both options and long enough so you boobs don’t come out. 😉

I don’t like shorts that show too much butt cheeks or are way below your hips. I’m a pretty big booty girl but I’m not a big girl at all and when I do any type of booty tricks, the shorts ride up my butt. Not sexy!! Especially the Bad Kitty short. Wore them once!
I see they have one shoulder bra. I wonder if they cover your breast. I have the same problem with those being that I’m a 36D. When I reach up, the bottom of my boob shows. Yikes!!
Hope someone makes clothes for people who have junk in their truck. 😉

I just got my x-Pole lite stage two days ago. I haven’t set it up yet but when I got it in the box I had to get a guy to help me carry it up to my home. It is very heavy!! Be prepared!!!
I use/teach PoleSilks and I’m going to try it. I think for certain tricks it might not be a good idea. But for others it will be ok I’m thinking. Once I try it I’ll let you know.

Thank you ladies for asking and subscribing!
I’ve just uploaded one of my latest PoleSilks dance routine on YouTube for an event at Chicago Mother’s. It was a sold out show and I was honored to be a part of it.
Truth told… I was so nervous. :/ that I didn’t even smile. LOL! So many people!!! But I needed the experience since I’ll be competing soon. -
I find it difficult scrolling through videos and waiting till they load up. At time it’s a repost so by the time it downloads I’m like I’ve seen this. :/
So I download an iPad app called Padgram. It lets you see a whole page of post about 9 post at a time. Makes it easier to view and cuts my time. 😉

XxMyztikxX – I have on both arms! :0 so scary for sure!!

I don’t have hyper-extended legs but I have hyper-extended arms. Once I did a handspring and it over extended my arm. I heard a pop. It was hurting me for a while. Had to wrap it so it won’t do it again. Wasn’t something I can control. Would just say to be careful.

@CD Hussey fka Jivete – I use Mac softwares and apps on the iPhone/iPad. I don’t know of any good softwares for the PC.

Thank you @vickiezoo!!!
I have posted a few videos up on YouTube (need to post more later) but you will find many on my Instagram as well. Look for @LifeOfAPoleTrick. I’ve created many new tricks and spins. I love it!! There is so much you can do.
I also teach one-one-ones and group classes in Chicago. Going to try to offer Skype classes too 🙂 -
Romo – Depending on what system you use it will come with the silks. I have 10′ and 12′. 10′ is good for 8′ ceilings. I bought 12 for the studio plus extra room to do more tricks. I also use a 45mm xpole. With Nexus Wrap it doesn’t matter on the size of your pole. It wraps around it.

With mine I leave the attachment and just take off the silks. What brand do you have? Some you have to take the whole thing off but others you do not.
I teach Silks with Pole and I’m certified. I’ve also create new tricks. You can look me up on Facebook or Instagram: @LifeOfAPoleTrick

Your link doesn’t work 🙁

Can you let us know if there was a fix?
When it moves inside, does the pole spin as well? At the same time? -
Crystal, I’ve been doing research for indoor riggings but I’m looking more for lyra. I found a few things but I don’t know if it will hold or long enough for trapeze. You might need more room for that. The riggings I’ve seen are stand. Not something mounted to the ceiling.

Was the pole coated as well by dorianmkerr8721?
Will it work with Xpole stage light? -
I am also interested in what to teach kids. I had a friend who wanted her daughter to learn but I just don’t know where to start. Any tips?

MemberMay 26, 2015 at 3:13 pm in reply to: How much are lessons a few times a week in the studio? It all depends on what city and which class. Everywhere is different. In Miami I’ve seen $35 for pole dance. Which here in Chicago, can run $20-35 a class. If you are looking for more specialized classes like Lyra, Silks, or Silks with Pole then the class are more. I’ve seen $65-150 an hour

Yes. Depends on time and day. But I think Skype is a great idea! I feel like you…. I should be conditioning and stretching but… ugh! Maybe we can start small. LOL
