I remember Germany. I remember it being COLD! Hah. I’m a 39 year old also, in Florida. I’m still muddling through beginner moves so I can build my strength. Right now, I’ve managed a half-arse pole climb and a pole sit. Highly recommend Veena’s lessons if you are looking for starting points. They’ve helped me and I’m excited as I slowly build the strength to start on spins.

For all the girls getting Brazilians for the first time…I HIGHLY recommend No Scream Cream. It helps if you use it as directed (i.e., 30 to 45 minutes before the kitty hair goes bye bye) although nothing completely kills the discomfort.
