I’ve played a couple of the lessons its quite possible that they don’t all work. This is very much a beta technology for us which is why I didn’t tell you about it yet, we are working on a more robust system however.

Blackberries are notoriously problematic with their updates recently. They used to support a wide range of video formats, recently however they have become much more fickle.

    Englann,

    1) How old is your computer?
    2) Have there been any recent problems with your Internet connection?

Took you all long enough to find it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Right now it only works on the iPhone 4, the iPad and certain flavors of Android which is why we haven’t said anything. The fact that it works was more or less a test towards something else we are working on.

Those of you with the right equipment, ENJOY!!!

Chrome is a great browser, it’s fast and standards compliant and all I use for my day to day browsing.

This is most likely a decoding issue, the most likely cause is an older version of flash, or performance issues with your computer. Try to upgrade your flash player at http://www.flash.com or even just switching browsers.

It could be a couple things,

You may have an older version of Flash, in which case you go to flash.com to download the newest version.

You may also have a slower internet connection, try selecting one of the lower bitrate sizes in the upper right corner of the video.

Our forum implementation is tightly tied to our core software to eliminate duplication of functionality and user control panels. What this means is that currently there is no signature functionality, although it is something we may bring back in the future.

Most likely your browser is caching the upload for some reason. You can verify this by trying a different web browser or clearing the cache on your browser.

When you use the forgotten password link the system resets your password to a random password, so you won’t recognize it. This is a security feature.

    LilyBell,

There are two reasons that you may have choppy lessons:

    1) You are in the UK our servers are currently only located in the US. Depending on who your broadband provider is it will usually not download as fast as it would in the US, in this case either try one of the different video sizes by selecting them from the upper right of the video window, these other sizes are smaller and will download quicker or for the best result simply give the video a little time and it will download completely and allow you to play it without interruption.

    2) Since the large video size is Hi-Definition some slower computers cannot play them back very effectively. In this case the best solution is to select one of the smaller video sizes.

    aWiiPeanut,

From what I was able to find iMovie ’08 is hit and miss on the point and shoot cameras. iMovie ’09 from the new iLife however works very well. iPhoto will take the movie files off your camera and iMovie will import them.

iMovie 08 likes to import directly from the camera and depending on your camera this may or may not be possible.
