We currently have no other method of accepting payment. PayPal provides security for both us and you and reduces risk for both customer and business because of their strict requirements.

X-Pole will email these to you if you call them.

I'm sorry, I see what you are talking about now. I thought we were still talking about blogs, but yes there does seem to be something broken with profile commenting. I'll take a look at this.

If you are running a security suite you could try shutting that off. I've heard of Symantec/Norton products preventing AJAX calls before.

This indicates that something is wrong with the javascript interpreter on your computer. Generally this is caused by a failed plugin or malware installed in your browser. Sometimes its as easy as running an anti-virus to fix it but often it can be harder than that. Most malware that causes this kind of problem is not a major concern so the functionality can be restored simply by using a different browser.

No, you just go to blogs and click the write a blog link at the top of the screen. People can see just your blog entries by clicking on blogs on your profile or they can see all blog entries by clicking Blogs at the top of the screen.

@tequilalily – Youtube transcodes every video that is uploaded. It doesn't transcode every video into every format though. Generally the more popular a video or a channel the more formats Youtube will convert it into.
-
@tequilalily – Youtube stores each and every video in hundreds of different formats and sizes and bitrates, something that requires a billion dollar infrastructure for both encoding and properly deliving exactly the right video for each device that accesses the site. In our case, lacking the billion dollar infrastructure, we have selected a few common formats that can be decoded by most modern phones to provide the best experience we can.
-
@jennypole – On some blackberries and some android phones the hardware is just not there to decode video at the resolution we store it at. Most new phones it should work on however. and all iPhones.

Fixing this is on my todo list for today. We are trying to create automatic links to information in the site, to make it easier for people to find related topics, and we were starting with the moves 🙂

Your update got sent out last night, you might check your spam folder and see if it got automatically marked as spam by your computer. If that doesn't work, you could check with your email provider to see if they are blocking it, access to small providers has been spotty, sometimes just changing your email address to a gmail, yahoo or hotmail account can help.
