If you are thinking about Veena's lessons at all they include a whole section on stretching that have been very successful for many people.  In this way you are combining your pole lessons and stretching lessons together.   Not only that but with Veena's lessons you also get chair instruction and hooping instruction.  Its a very complete resource.

@SensualScimitar – Acetone would not strip plating off the poles, nor would windex for that matter.

Windex is a poor choice as a pole cleaner because it is not a pure product.  Depending on the kind of Windex you purchase it can include detergents or other impurities that could affect your grip on the pole or cause different reactions when combined with the oils on your skin.

Its the same reason Windex is not recomended as a cleaner for your computer screen.

Don't forget that you can upload videos here too.  We recognize that it can be difficult to share your pole videos with the world for all kinds of reasons and thats why we added the functionality to StudioVeena.Com.

What you are describing is not sponsorship.  That is simply making you a salesperson, presumably a poorly paid one at that.

Sponsorship is a mutually beneficial situation where a vendor selects talent representative of their industry and gives them significant, generally monetary, benefit in exchange for a positive representation of their product.

Veena uses nothing but X-Pole.  Her absolute favorite is the titanium 45mm X-Pert(spinning) pole.

March 26, 2012 at 10:08 am in reply to: Which portable pole do you like?

If you are not needing spin mode I would simply get the X-Pole Sport and I would also purchase the 500mm extension which will give you the flexibility to use the pole anywhere from 7' 4" to 10'3".

@Rixi – I would give X-Pole a quick call.  They are open for another two hours and they can probably direct you in what to do.
