It's valid indefinitely but can only be used once.

All the problems are normal.  Lines of communication fail, venues don't work out as expected, authority and judging is questioned, people get upset for justified or unjustified reasons.

The difference between a professional business and an amateur business is ultimately in how these things are handled.

    Tina,

As businesses our most import function is to communicate with our customers, when communication fails our customers will take to other channels.

It seems to me that CaseyKill came here to vent when her attempts at communication failed.  So essentially, she tried to "get her facts straight" however you didn't establish enough lines of communication or information dissemination to make sure that people are properly informed.

Is that a failure on your part? Of course not, it is a learning opportunity and a good business takes that as such, humbles themselves, makes right what they can, then promises to do better next time.

You are concerned about the damage done to your reputation by CaseyKill's rant?  I think yours has probably done far more harm than Casey's.

    I have two suggestions:

    1) You can try "shocking" the pole.  Put the tools into the holes then anchor one while you tap the other firmly in the direction it should turn with a rubber mallet.  Don't tap it so hard that you bend the tools.  Sometimes the swift motion will break them apart where steady pressure wouldn't.

    2) If all else fails call X-Pole.  They used to have a set of tools that greatly aided in taking your pole apart.

I apologize for this.  It is on the end of the chat provider and not us.  We are working with them to resolve this.

Just make sure they are clear that you don't mind if the center of the stage is chrome.

You can actually interchange the poles on both stage poles.  We have a 50mm and 45mm for our X-Stage.

Depending on your itinerary it may be less expensive and less of a hassle to simply ship your pole to your final destination.  Generally this will cost about $50-$75 and will save you lugging your pole around the airport and drawing the ire of security.
