I’m on and off, was much stronger and can do more a few years back until life happened and a longggg break plus a few pounds. I’m never bored but seem to have much more trouble getting back my strenght again, now with work related injuries in the arms and wrists makes it more chalenging too. I agree with what Runemis said above.

The pole arrived today and my partner installed it for us right away(he likes to get his work out from poling too) It’s gorgeous purple is awesome! and talk about sturdy, my guy is 6’6″ and 195 lbs he can rock it no problem! The grip is wonderful I can do pole hold the first time without slipping down unlike X-Pole which I love but can’t stay on it. Thank you! 🙂

Without going into too much details about many reasons why depression is the monster, let just say, whenever it came knocking-I beat the beast out the door with poling, on top of gardening so yes! it works! 🙂

Thanks for all the input ladies, I didn't now that Glycerine can help with gripping! I have been having trouble with dry skin since I try to get better grip with Xpole, so skipped all lotions but still slipped. When I had my LM I did better, even when I wasn't very warm. I also know that I am not strong enough-yet(just got back to pole after 2-3 years of no pole) I think I really will switch out for the purple pole.

I'm so tempted to exchange my XPole Chrome over for SV, I wish I can have both but my space is teeny tiny so a pole that is so easy to remove and put up is so very desirable right now! Not to mention how much easier it was for me to work with it, and SV pole is so pretty!

I bought a ‘Pole’ off from Ebay once, it was $100 I didn’t know any better back then. Later that year I went to IKEA for some furniture and found ‘the pole’ there as part of a big walk in closet type! That answer the question why it never felt right to do anything with it and I did not feel safe. Lesson learned here, it is better to save up and buy the real pole than to risk your safety with alternative poles wanna be.

oops, just found the info on the SV pole banner, it is 45MM, that's great! I had a 50MM before and it was a bit too big for my hands, so traded for an X-pole a few years back and haven't been able to do much with it. I really love the color and miss the grip of a PC.

yep, i think Veena is by far the best resource, i have many dvds but funny thing is i never really follow and stay with the dvd lessons 😛 but within the first 2 weeks of Veena's lessons, i actually feel more motivated and see my progress. i should have sign up a long time ago.
