I'm going to go to Xpole and see if I can test out a demo stage to see if I like it. I've watched a bunch of side by side comparsions of xstage lite and platinum. So far, xstage seems better. But I'd like to officially test it before buying.

And for that price w/ shipping I might as well purchase from Xpole, but thank you for letting me know 🙂

And yes, I'll have to get a shorter B pole. Ceiling is only 8 feet heigh. It's an apartment. That's pretty standard.

To chemgoddess1, weak ceiling, not properly under a beam and retightening after each use. 🙁 I'm so sad.

Reminds me! I didn't do my splits stretches today. Spent all day cooking christmas dinner. Must stretch and burn off some calories!

It's an amazing feeling! What was really messing with me was that I naturally got the back hook. But could NOT do the front hook to save my life until now. Lol. Crazy. Main issue I had was my non-hook leg refused to leave the ground when I went to push forward.

You may be a BEGINNER pole dancer if….

Everytime you listen to a song you think of an amazing move/routine and the second you try it and you're not ready, you cry in a corner.

You spend half of an hour knocking on your ceiling looking for the beam.

You went to look at an new apartment and brought a tape meaure just to measure the floot to the ceiling.

You constantly obsess over a pole move you can't get right and call it your nemesis.

Your pole falls from the ceiling (while you're on it) TWICE because you forgot to re-tighten.

You walk through the supermarket doing your pole walks.

That happened to me recently. No pain thankfully, but it was pretty funny. Turns out I didn't secure the ceiling mount very well.
