I have found that turning down the lights, music you love and no mirrors works wonders…dance a few dances without using the pole. Floor work, wall work, chair work, use the pole as a prop but no spins or pole moves. Also if you have a friend you trust try dancing blind folded. It is amazing because a) it slows you down and b) it really forces you to focus on the floor, your feelings, touch, other senses, yourself and the music – it's quite liberating. BUT……alway have someone there to make sure you aren't going to smack into something https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Yay Liz! Let me know when you are coming so I can be around – we should make a night of it!
Poledancing 13 our pole classes are 25 a clas for 1.5 hours or 200.00 for a 10 pack (good for 3 months) and with the 10 pack you can take all the other classes in the studio other than burlesque. Also you can always come goof around during open pole – that's only 10.00 an hour but no instructor.

As of right now our friday schedule has a stretch class in it at 7:15 – however (boo) 🙁 that class never seems to fill LOL…realize though we are a while off from the convention BUT even if we put another class in the time slot whatever that class was wouldn't push past 8:15 – SO we could say 8:15 and make it a solid 🙂

Like Chem said every body reacts differently – I have PS brass and have had multiple people using them at the same time and we never had any issues with skin burns. I also have a powder coated Lil Mynx and never had that issue as well. I will also say that I have had grip issues and sweaty hand issues so a pole can NEVER be too grippy for me so who knows LOL

Is it in a white can with blue letters…and SUPER sticky if so it might be what I usefor silks/lyra – Firm Grip spray by Cramers
