If you have a little bit of patience i say go with a Silk-Epil or any or those machine that pull the the hair out. It last  as long as wax, without the burn and i have patch that never grew back even if i stop using it years ago. Oh yes i'm lazy when it come to my legs and when hair are really long it don't go as well, i need to get back at it. Because i'm pretty sure that i would have not much left now if i had kept doing it.

Oh yes, sliding, kicking the pole, bruises…more slide and more bruises. At some point we all look at that damn pole and ask ourself " what was on my mind?" I spend the first 2 months looking like i had been hit by a truck lol. I fell on my face trying stupid trick. Or end up stoping pole for months because i don't feel the inspiration anymore.

But it come back, you'll get stronger, it will be less painful and even the crazy trick don't seem that crazy and don't hurt (much) anymore. Someday you will realise that the move you could only dream of,you can do it. I remember how amaze i was when i first saw a knee hold and thinkning to myself that if i ever got there that would be the top and i could die happy. Well it's been check from a list a long time ago but i remember well how much it hurt at the time.

The girls here are really supportive because they know what we go through, especially when we start. We've been there too, it's not just you. And keep in mind that it's not the destination, it's the journey…Good luck https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Good subject because i always did sm the wrong way, I do cup grip but my hands or switch, anyway it work so i'm good. But i want to work on superman to sm and stuff like that, i bet it's more easy with one arms extended. I did try the claw grip (not bad but not pretty lol) and i think i'm gonna give it a try with Veena's grip, look safe to try super invert.

I think you should talk to her for sure, waiting for something to happen is never good. The both of you need to figure out how you want to handle the situation. best of luck

Just like the other girl say, it doesn't look good to me…at all. You should really consider another studio or Veena lessons. Always trust yourself and if it don't feel right than maybe it's because it's not. Personnaly i need to be able to trust 100% the person who want me to do any move on a pole.

I use to practice 3 time a week with a day off in between, now i'm too busy. The day off is really important and when i start making it, rather that doing everyday i got stronger a lot faster. So i wouldn't go everyday or too long. 1h-1h30 is pretty good. More than that you're body will have hard time to get back as is best.

I keep hoping someone will make a comment but didn't happen yet. You can see my pole from the door step and a few delivery guys saw it but they always make like nothing is there even if my boys are playing around…people are too polite to be fun here

For my legs i was using Silk-epil, that's not a permenent machine but even if i haven't use it for a few years i have patch hairless on my legs. I don't use it often mostly because i'm lazy and when hair get longer it doesn't work as well. But i should give it a try again before the summer.

As for trying it on your armpit and lady part it could be more sensitive but if you can get that gel that numb, it probably help. And after a while using it, it's not that bad.

I know how you feel girl.

I haven't pole much in the last 4-5 months but my good friend Tovah start to kick my butt in the last few weeks. Doing skype session a few time a week is really helpful because it give me the motivation i lost on the way.

I know i don't go as fast as i use to and even lost some of my moves but i feel it's coming back. It just made 2 years a ferw day ago since the beginning of my journey and yes it's full of up and down. I'm sure the're a lot of tips here to help you get more energy( feeling like that too) and you'll be back on you feets really soon.

Stretching and keep working on it even when you don't get it. Listening to myself when a little voice was saying…bad idea!!! Painful lesson lol.

And i wish that the first time i saw someone poling on tv, i didn't tell myself that since i was not a stripper i could never try it. I should have look to find a pole and learn it anyway https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

So many good reason to wear them lol

I use them when i want to work a lot on some spins, ever had that feeling that with friction you will miss some skin. Or when you want to do floowork and need some comfy for knee and help slidding on the floor. You can also wear them when you want to work on your dancing without the temptation to climb the pole. And just because they look hot and make you feel good https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

When i do practice (not often, lazy me) I work on straight edge, aysha (split grip) can only do it from half handspring which i'm still working on. Trying a bunch of new combo. Oh and i need to relearn the SM because i'm doing it the wrong way lol mixing hands but need to learn it the good way with extended arm…in hope i can get sm to superman, someday. Anyone who want to kick my ass in a skype session is welcome lol
