This is her second show with Cirque du Soleil, i think it was in Zatura (sexy one) a few years ago. She also spend the summer here in Montreal to work on this new show, i wish i could go see one of her show. Oh and she look so sweet and nice in person, she was like 6 feets away from me at the pole competition but i was too shy to go see her during the break .

I understand you so well on that. I have 2 boys 4 and 7. And when they are home and awake it's just impossible for me to pole. My pole is is the family room so the only time i get is when they're in bed. But it's hard to still have energy after a day of working, taking care of the kids and house. Personnaly i just take a little break when i put them in bed and after i try to pole. Some night are good other are not. I'm really lucky that one in a while a have a day off and my youngest is not home so i can train during the day.
Don't feel guilty because you want to spend more time with your pole. As a mom we usually forget that we're also woman. And we need to take time for ourself, it help us be a better more happy personhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

@sexy girl you're doing good, don't forget to put your legs and hips in front of the pole. A little swing up is not bad (and really helpful sometime) In case you want to be sure you don't swing back put something on the floor,right behing your heels, like a box of tissues. Just one thing to say….relax and good luck!!! i'm sure eveyrthing will be fine. I can't really help with moves suggestion but i think that it don't care what moves you teach as long as it's safe and in a fun way. People who pay for class want to have a good timewhile learning.

I go to a quick scorpio and to a handstand scorpio since i usually end up kind of low. From that it's easy to move to the floor. If you higher you can go to scorpio and allegra.

You're not alone, I've been training alone at home (with Veena) for more than a year and i still think i should do what V suggest. Why not put a timer in your pole room or at least a clock, set some time for strenght, stretching, pole moves….and fun of course. Use a board where you can write what you want to work on. Seeing it will motivate you to work on it so you can erase it. Don't forget that can can always ask for help here by asking some tips or sharing video. Veener are so good to motivate you and put you back on track when you need it. Good luck !!!

I agree with both of you girls, the photograph and the owner look for trouble. But it's a fact that they have amazing fireman pole in the park lol. I have two boys, so that may be the reason i don't find disturbing at all that they play around the pole. And if we had pole lesson for kids around (don't even have a studio) i wouldn't have problem lettting them go play on it. My oldest is 7 and he have no idea what is a stripper and i find it really disturbing that he can't talk about our pole because some kids dohttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif

Oh yes! knee hold hurt like hell espicially at first lol Do you get your knee on the pole? you're suppose to have it lower, in fact it's more on your leg, that's why it hurt so bad at first. Pratice make better, now i can hold for a long time (still hurt a little) but at first couldn't hold for more than a second. And don't forget to push your hips forward. I feel like it reduce the pressure on the bottom leg since you hold more with the knee pit.
