that's so strange, chem!  when i try to go to their website (by any means – link, google, etc.) i get an error message.  when i try to go to the facebook it says page not found!  including searching on facebook!  https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

i didn't necessarily have to massage mine, but they were nice and soft when massaged, and then when i stopped doing it (because i didn't know you were supposed to do it forever) i noticed that they didn't "move" naturally when i walked, etc. – and felt somewhat harder.  my doc had me take a high dose of vitamin e (3,000/day) with massage and they got soft again…  i know everyone is different thought.  mine were the smooth round saline type.

i had implants (saline 225cc under muscle) for 6 years.  loved them the first few years, but then got tired of the maintenance.  what the docs don't tell you is that your boobs will have to be massaged and squeezed just about every day, or else the capsule (scar tissue) around the implant will harden (contracture).  i got tired of it.  and i am so happy that i had them removed this past december!!!!  i wish everyone good luck with theirs, though…

hi feeden, i did hear back from poledancemat u.k.  shipping here would be 95 pounds.  so i won't be getting either of those mats.  they are just too expensive.  as far as the iron x top – it is quite different from the spider back.  i have problems with my spider back rising up onto the underside of my breasts.  it seems the problem is the straps are too short (for me).  the iron x has alot more room for breasts, because there are gathers in the front.  the medium might fit you.

feeden, you might want to look at the lucia shorts.  they also have side ties but a little more coverage.  i just went to check for you, and wow they have alot of new stuff!  🙂

hi, i was just looking for info about this..  i have a few videos on youtube but would like to add more.  however, i get the notices about copyright violation, and that i could have my channel shut down, be sued, etc.  it's confusing because there are a million vids on youtube that have mp3's and i doubt many of those people have purchased the rights to the music.  any advice?

the iron x top might fit you, if you get a large.  i just got a medium, and even though i have no boobs – i think it would work if i did.  i also have the mikaela shorts from mika.  they have another similar style with a little more coverage (forget the name) – maybe try those?

hey rixi, you mentioned you already had 8 friends/family get into poling because of you – that's more students than most new studios (in more rural areas) start with!   i know i am going against some expert advice starting a home studio, because of liability, and putting our home at risk, etc..   but i think you could start giving your friends lessons, just keep safety the top priority.  i will prob. stick to beginner and intermediate level instruction, because there is less risk of someone getting injured.  if someone wanted more advanced instruction, i think i would look into the legal aspect more and make sure they sign a liability waiver that will hold up in court.  i hate to even think like that, but maybe i'm just too trusting of people..

i agree with the other ladies..  give them a call, you may have a defective part (but hopefully not).  i have a PS once piece that i switched from bottom loading to top loading, and i like it WAY better that way.  basically i agree with everything sensualscimitar has said.  good luck!

thanks, simplycountry and rixi!   i wish i had some friends who would like pole.  i don't really have any friends here.  all of my friends are on studio veena, lol.  i have met people who might be interested, though.  my neighbor had a bunch of ladies over for a party, and they wanted a pole class, so i had 13 ladies over here!  it was a while ago, but i know some of them would be interested, so i'm going to talk to my neighbor.  she teaches zumba.  wanted to make sure my new pole was okay and everything set up first!  also i am getting some business cards,so that will help.  i need to get out and socialize more, i'm such a loner…

thanks!  i agree.  i'm going to make a page on classes.  my idea is that i want to charge by suggested donation $10 to $20.  i know that sounds cheap, but my studio is an extension of our house, and i don't have a business license.  i just don't want to mess with all that stuff.  plus i want to see how much interest there is.  i was thinking of maybe just having free intro classes (maybe have one per week) for a while, and see if i can get any people that way.  i also want to make a "links" page with my email, facebook, and other pages.  the problem is, i'm running out of room for pages at the top, lol.

thanks everyone, your suggestions are so helpful and much appreciated  https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif
