if they need you to bring in students, they must not be doing very well. i have had some similar experiences with massage therapy positions – where they wanted me to already have a clientele. but HELLO, if i had my own clients, i would have them come to my house!!!

Looking for ideas!just got back from food shopping. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif and OOps, i made a mistake on the name of those raw bars. they are called "raw revolution". the company is raw indulgence. also, if you are looking for a really high protein snack, Cliff makes a bar called "builders" which has 20 grams of protein! i find those kind of hard to digest though. for protein powder, i like "spirutein" high protein energy meal, strawberry. 🙂

Looking for ideas!raw indulgence bars! they are 100% raw and organic (made from nuts, dried fruits, agave, coconut, cacao, etc.). and have 7-8 grams of protein per bar (depending on which flavor you get). they are available at most health food stores and are much cheaper than most of the other bars (only $1.79 each at our health food store). you can also make your own trail mix from nuts and dried fruits. i also love hemp milk.

i have a bikini bottom that i was having the same problem with (butt crack showing). in fact, when i posted a video here, someone commented that they couldn't stop looking at it. LOL! so the next time i wore a pair of black lace undies underneath (the cheeky kind, so they only showed a little at the top of the back of the bikini bottom) and it solved the problem. 🙂

i agree with steffie that everyone is different. i grew up in the 70's before there was so much hype about health and health foods (at least where i grew up). i was raised on the traditional meat and potatoes diet, but with processed foods, canned and frozen vegetables, and never knew there was any kind of lettuce besides iceberg. we had every kind of junk food imaginable, including frozen dinners, fish sticks, tater tots, rice a roni, spagetti-o's, and other meals from a box or can. potato chips, soda, packaged cookies, and candy. no one knew any of this was bad for you back then, LOL. i think when you are young, you can get away with anything! of course there are exceptions. i got interested in health and fitness at a pretty young age though, including yoga (which no one even heard of back then). so i have tried many different types of diets and lifestyles. it all depends what you want out of life. but now that i'm in my 40's, i am finding that the healthier my diet, the better i feel. i recently went totally vegan, eliminated processed foods of all types, salt, and foods cooked with oils. it has made a huge difference for me, i have so much more energy! i do find that i have to eat ALOT though, especially the day after a good pole practice. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_porc.gif

i'm with jehanne. it all sounds totally disgusting to me. but then, i'm a vegan https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif but, to each his/her own..

i stay out of the sun as much as possible. i know this sounds strange for someone living in hawaii. i used to go to the beach alot, but like most people who have lived here a few years, it's not such an attraction anymore. i don't like putting sunblock (or even lotion) on my skin. i wear a sunhat 100% of the time if i am walking in the sun – even if it's just to walk to the end of the driveway, or from my car to my work. that way i don't feel i need to put sunblock on my face. i do use a light mineral makeup powder that has spf 19 (l'oreal bare naturale). https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cool.gif
it upsets me that this woman would take a six year old to a tanning booth!
