So, here’s a Little update 🙂
I ended up buying 3 pairs of hiphuggers and 2 thongs in medium.
They do fit both. However; I would have preferred if the fabric would have been a litel longer on the back of the hiphuggers. If I pull them up where they feel comfortable, I have 4 buttcheeks, if you know what I mean.
The thongs are a lot longer; they could have been a Little shorter. They’re sort of a 80’s / 90’s cut.
BUT just a Little bit. Not as much as that it really bothers me. They’re just not 100% perfect, but rather 95%.
I mean, we’re all different, and of course it fits different on everyone.
What I really like is the waistband. The lace doesn’t give a muffin top and they vanish completely under bk’s competition shorts.Functionwise I think they’re great! Of course what they swallow is limited. With my extremely heavy flow, I couldn’t wear just these. But it gives me peace of mind to know that I won’t leak when my menstrual cup is full.
I ended up ordering 3 more pairs of hiphuggers, so I’m covered for the entire week.
So, for me it’s a YES!

Returning is not really an option since I’m from Germany 🙁
Also, I’m not sure if I go ahead and order some, how many I should get. Shipping is 9$, so if I only get 1 pair, test would be really expensive. Also, if I have to pick them up at customs, that takes me almost 2 hrs (and adds costs), so not really worth the hassle for just 1 pair 🙁
Unfortunately they don’t seem to have a European distributor.I mean, I’m pretty sure I want some, it’s just that I don’t want to get 5 pairs of the wrong size.

I’m about to order some of the Thinx panties. I have a really heavy flow and can’t use my cup without a backup, so these would be perfect!
Has anyone tried them in the meantime?
I’m wondering which size to get. I wear a medium in Bad Kitty shorts – I heard they run a Little small, but then considering their size chart I should get a medium… -
I can recommend Poledancerka: https://poledancerka.com/
-
My friend also glitters heels: http://sparkleheels.jimdo.com/
She also does custom designs und sews perpormance costumes 🙂
Located in Germany, but I think she is shipping worldwide. -
Our beginner class is very dance-focused. Some more advanced students attend, but because they want to learn new dancey stuff and floorwork and polish their moves. It’s chopreography, so there isn’t much time to do tricks in between, plus, they usually wera long clothes (because of floorwork). At the end of class, when we Dance the whole thing through, after the taught combo there usually is still some of the song left, so, they get to freestyle. Some don tricks then, but I think this wayy it’s ok.
In our advanced class (starting from aerial invert) we have one theme each month, and within that theme there will be different options for different skill levels to keep everyone busy 🙂

MemberMay 19, 2016 at 11:26 am in reply to: New Pole Clothing Brand Wholesaling to StudiosI’m a Studio owner and honestly, I don’t really earn much by selling pole clothing. I do have a lot though but view it more as a service for my students.
I guess that’s the reason why most studios don’t carry a lot of clothing.
Most students won’t pay more than 25-30 Euros for shorts ad 30-35 Euros per top.
I usually earn about 5 Euros per piece, so it’s not profitable at all if you consider the work you have with it (attaching price and security tags, putting it up, advertising it, re-arraniging it after having 3 girls try on 5 pieces each and not buying any etc), plus, a lot just hangs there that nobody wants. -

Since I was never good at dancing and floorwork I took the challenge and am learning russian style exotic pole at the moment. It’s harder than it looks! Plus, it’s a really good core workout and helps with all the stuff up on the pole as well 🙂
Also, your tricks will profit aesthetically too because you gain a better body awareness. -

So anyone selling Pleasers should be able to sell them. -
I have the same Problem. Here is my very cheap and easy way to fix it:
I buy this Kind of stuff from ebay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/1-x-Selbstklebende-Neopren-Zellkautschuk-Matte-5mm-Starke-200x300mm-Moosgummi-/262178233599?hash=item3d0b0a5cff:g:LJQAAOxyhTFSSuEE
I don’t know what it’s called in English so I just posted the link. It basically is some sort of foam rubber and it’s used for noise insulation. It has one self-adhesive side.I buy two different sizes, 1mm and 5mm.
Out of the 5mm, I cut a piece approx the size 5mm x 50mm and stick it on the insole where your toes start, right bevor the balls of the feet. This will stop the foot from sliding through the shoe.
Out of the 1mm, I cut an egg-shaped Piece about 80mm in length and place it over the other piece.
This way, the top layer secures the small bar in place.
This works way better than the pieces you can buy and are also a lot cheaper 🙂
Also, with the patent straps which I find uncomfortable, you can use the 1mm as a cushion on the inside of the straps.
I hope you understand what I mean. If not, I can post a picture.

You can just shorten the b-pole by using a saw 🙂
-
I usually perform in heels, however, when I practise I prefer to wear ballet Slippers. I really don’t like dancing barefoot because i dance around the pole a lot and do a lot of floorwork and I find this hard since dancing in bare feet they seem to stick to the floor rather then slide over it.
I prefer So Danca half sole in nude (you can’t really see them since they match my Skin Color pretty well): http://northamerica.sodanca.com/collections/modern/products/ba-41-ba-42 -
I’ve been on a Workshop with her, and she said she has them made for her, so I guess the only way to get some is to contact her directly. She doesn’t speek english though, so you should find someone translating your request into russian.
-
I’ve been to a Workshop with Olga Koda and asked her where Daria’s shoes are from. It’s a russian brand, Echo of Hollywood. The red ones aren’t available atm though 🙁

Ok I#ll try to be more clear and try to explain what I want.
I’m not looking for a specific genre, it can be anything. I have a lot of songs for sensual floorwork (examples: Skin by rihanna, arsonists lullabye and it will come back by hozier, closer by kings of leon, vagina mine by puscifer, etc), but those don’t work well with power moves and drops which I also want to perform. They just lack something. So a song with floorwork-suitable slow phases that alternate with faster, more powerful music. -
I know what you mean…
What helped me, was to realize, that you don’t have to be able to do certain tricks or dance at a very high level to be successful. All you Need to do is be unique.
There are many pole dancers, who don’t have superhuman strength or flexibility, but still are different from others and shine through their personality.
And others, who do have superhuman strength and flexibility, but all I think is: Yep, another trickster. And forget them soon after.
So don’t try to be someone else, cherish what you CAN do, and accept what you can’t 🙂

What is the pendulum spin?

If the audience is not from our little pole world, then they are amazed by anything inverted where you don’t hold yourself with your hands, leg hangs, car/ckr and the like.

Phoenix Kazree & Chrystal Belcher!

Maybe you can find an no-name resistance band on Amazon or ebay. That’s where I got mine from. I live in Germany though but I bet since they’re probably coming from China they will be available in the US or UK or where ever you’re from 😉
I like mine! I paid around $16. -
Yes it’s possible! I’m placing my calf against the pole, using skin contact. It’s easier the more flexible you are, because the Skin contact increases with how much you can spread the legs.
The hard point is to not slide out of it and loosing the grip with the bottom leg when pushing your hip out. -

I agree 100%.
And I think it is totally legitimate that you have to pay in order to get something of value.Honestly, I wouldn’t be where I am if I didn’t find this site. I learned so much here, and it was an awesome preparation to become a teacher myself.
I had a discussion about the whole money issue with a friend who also runs her own studio. We came to the conclusion, that of course it is nice to offer something for free or very few money, but then People don’t see it’s value. She actually had to raise her prices and guess what: she has now more students than before. Because they believe that paying a higher price means they get something superior.
Also from personal observation, I noticed that if something doesn’t cost anything, it seems not worth anything either to many people. If you have to work hard in order to get something (lessons, car, house, …) you treat and view it differently than you would if you could constantly have everything for free or without any effort. -
I too feel that the headline is a bad choice of words. I do get the Point though. She demonstrates very good form, and I totally agree that everyone should work on these things until you can do them pretty before moving on. I’ve seen so many people who want that one trick, that is currently the rage, no matter what it takes and how to get into it, just to get that one photo to post on social media. I wish they would just get back and practise pretty climbing and inverting.
To me, the hardest trick is bs if you can’t get in and out safely and with good form. -
One of my studets (Nadja) has entered the video challenge!! I’m so proud of her! She started poling last year in May, and of course hers is my favorite Video 😉
If you like it, you can vote for her on here: https://www.unitedpoleartists.com/video-challenge-voting/
