I'm a bit promiscuous with shorts.  I love the Bad Kitty Brazilian shorts (Hurray for no muffin top!)

Lululemon also had some shorts called F52 or something like that but i can't seem to find them online anymore.  Anyhow, they are like the Bad Kitty ones.

And lastly, my cheap thrill is a pair of shorts from F21.  They are the the classic ones with the bunch up at the side.  The tie is striped black and white.  UBER cute and only ~$13!

I'm sorry that you had to go through that.  You should just ignore them, they are just attention seeking.  It's quite obvious since they had to come back with a string unnecessary comments.  Don't they have anything better to do with their lives other than try to make someone feel badly about themselves?  Their comments may sting but in the end, what they say is insignificant as long as you are happy with yourself…and your husband!  =]  Take care!

I found that they fit true to their size; however, the style is snug and fitted so it depends on how you want it to look.

Hmmm…my mom is very supportive and encouranging about it.  LIke when I show her vidoes of awesome polers and say I wish I could be like that, she says I will with practise .  Or when I don't want to tell people at stores what I'm buying uber short shorts or hand anti-perspirants for because I'm shy, she actually says, "So?  Who cares if they know you pole dance.  It's just exercise."  She's so awesome!

In terms of poling herself…I think she's too shy and conscientious to try it herself…or she'll say she's too old to be hopping and flying around like that, lol.

@ lisakristin:  "Pole trickster,"  I love it.  I wanna be a pole trickster someday!

Nope, none of this is easy!  But it gets easier with practice.  =]  Clmbing used to hurt…a lot.  It felt like the skin was being ripped off my legs and now, well I don't even feel it anymore.  Keep at it!

40mm because I’m barely 4’9″ and have freakishly small hands =T

  • @ glitterqueen:  I enjoyed your post!  You're lucky you feel that way. I'm still too shy to call myself a pole danceer.  =[

@Annieloo:  I STILL feel like a wannabe pole dancer!  I agree, the "you know you're a pole dancer if…" posts are funny and so true!  When I read them, I think, "Hmm…a lot of these things sound like me…."

@adAstra:  I think that you are going a terrific route on the building foundation.  When I started, the studio jumped into dance quite fast and even now after I've completed level 3, I feel I have no upper body strength.  It's quite sad =[.  I hope you work out the beam issues soon!

Humm…here is something really weird, when I climb, I actually barely use my foot on the initial step.  Anyhoo, I'm more of a noob than a seasoned dancer but here's how I do it, I put my shin diagonally across the pole and keep the knee of the same leg almost right next to the pole.  I find that you get the maximum surface area of shin to the pole that way.  You don't really have to press your shin too hard either, just enough so that if you were drag your leg across the pole, you'd give yourself a bad indian burn.  Try thinking of your shin as your "foot" stepping up on a step stool.

I don't know how much this helped but I wanted to post because I also wanted to say hi to a fellow B.C.-er!  =]
