I’ve also heard Corn Huskers lotion works for some people! I’ve never used it, but I know they sell it at Walmart.

I’ve never experienced any pinching. I just bought my first pair a few months ago and I love them. Mine just have the peep toe plastic…No heel straps…

Do you mean other than sitting back up to the pole? Bc that’s the only exit I’ve seen anyone do from the remi bridge!

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer directly? They might know where/who (third party/retailers) might still have parts in stock if they discontinued the product…Probably still a long shot, but worth a try!

Ok, I got behind by two days while on vacation, but now I am done!!! I realized I wasn’t flexing in my “before” pic… So I made a collage. The before and after are on the bottom, any the one on top is me flexing!

Just finished flexy but went back to day 8 to keep training. On the last few days of the take off. I travel a lot, so I often don’t get things done on time, but I love that the lessons let you know where you left off! I’m also in the middle of Veena’s ab challenge and the other ab challenge that’s all over the Internet! Taking a couple pole classes a week, and snowboarding whenever I can! It’s my favorite form of exercise, beating out pole by a very slim margin!! 😂

Here is day 1 and day 17(I forgot to do it on 15)… My plan was to get them in the same place at home but I’m away at the moment! I’ll get it for day 30 though! I’m also doing the more conventional ab challenge with sit ups and crunches etc Bc my husband wanted to do an ab challenge but he didn’t want to do pole tucks haha 😜 There’s slightly more definition but nothing too noticeable yet! Still on track though!

Getting up can be easier than coming down because you can use momentum. I don’t know what your solid basic invert looks like. Are you kicking up or dead lifting your weight? Either way the strength it takes to come down slowly and in control is definitely greater, so don’t feel bad if you can go up but not come down yet! Have you done or seen Veena’s Ab Challenge? https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/529fa5da-d154-4b47-9cde-67460a9aa0eb I highly recommend it! At least the “Roll ups” exercise, really focusing on coming down super slowly. You’re on the ground so it will take your neck out of the equation until your core is strong enough! And you can always bring your legs to the pole to get out of an invert while your neck is mending!

I would give the 30 take off a whirl. It has a lot of helpful tips on form and technique as well as really specific pole strengthening exercises!

  • I would say listen to your body, but Absolutely! I am doing the 30 day take off, 30 days to flexy, and going to a local pole studio at least once a week. The flexy series has a warm up/strengthening component to it so you’re not stretching cold muscles or putting too much strain on your joints! Give it a whirl and if you start feeling too tired or too sore doing everything you listed just back off! It’s really all about you!!

OH 😂 That’s probably not very helpful then! I thought you were buying your first pole!

I don’t know if they redesigned it, but I would think they would put out new videos about it if they had!

Do you mean back to static from spinning? If so then yes! It’s just a matter of loosening some screws to go to spin mode, then lining up it up correctly and tightening the screws when you’re ready for static again. You can watch videos on YouTube for how to install/change it if you’re worried!

Not that I’m doing either of them yet, but from watching Veena’s videos it looks like this one is Cartwheel https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4d8361e8-4b5c-46df-a8e6-5d4b0ac37250 and the one where you walk past the pole is Handspring https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4d84b1b1-1f94-45d5-8e8b-38e90ac37250

I have been doing both programs at the same time…they line up fairly well in terms of rest days, but when I have been too sore or just don’t have enough time in the day I take a day off from one or the other, and I always look at both of them before I start and note which exercises are in both so I don’t double up and overload those muscles. I was already poling in a studio once a week for a few months before I started the programs though, so I wasn’t exactly starting at the bottom in terms of my pole strength… Give it a try and if you feel too sore or too tired drop it down to one of the programs. I hope this helps!
