    Floorwork!!! If I were taking a semi private with Michelle I’d choose floorwork! And or floor to pole transitions. If you watch her vids you can tell she’s super modern/lyrical and super sexy! I’d want to learn that knee roll she does around the pole. I’d want to learn her version of the b-boy (middle pic) and anything else that amazing woman wants to teach me!! Jealous 😉. Have fun!!!!!!

    Just fell out of this last week. came here to see what I did wrong. I think I tried to arch at my limit the first time and ended up falling back on my bent foot. Still not healed 🙁

    Personally, I love the DVD. It just goes to show that not every workout is for everyone! I thought that while yes it was fast paced in really threw my muscles into gear. It took about 2 or 3 times through to get the movements down (those girls are incredibly talented and they make it look so easy!) but if I felt it was too fast I’d pause it, finish on my pace and then continue on. I went straight down into a flat split after the first run through (I was about 3 inches away) I think she did a great job with warming you up and getting your muscles ready for Pnf stretching. I do it about 3 times a week and have seen great results. Again, not every workout will work for everyone. You just gotta find the right one and stuck with it 🙂 Rockin legs n abs coupled with Veenas lessons you’ll be sexy flexy in no time!!!!

    Yep! To get big you want to do high weights and low reps. To tone or stay smaller- low weights high reps 🙂

    Welcome to the world of pole. Unfortunately there really isn't much you can do about your arms getting big. Mine are huge and I've learned to love it! (also encourages the boyfriend to keep lifting 😉 lol) But whaat you can do is start lifting ( i know it seems counterintuitive) with low weights and high reps. It'll keep toning your arms without getting bulkier. I love muscles on a woman. It's sexy and empowering! Embrace it 🙂

    Rest, ice and epsom baths! Unfortunately, as you know, it just comes with the territory of being a badass! I'd say if the pain lasts more than a week, head to your doc or start some homeopathic remedies as most docs will just give you pain killers and send you on your way with a ridiculous bill. The Salonpas (Walgreens, etc. $3 for 4) patches that Alethea recommends are amazing. I have one on now! But I'd ice for the first few days then start relaxing the muscles with those.     I knew she was a rockstar, but omg is she a talented drummer!!

    They had me feeling their emotions. I was nervous, excited and a bit overwhelmed just watching. Not sure I’m cut out for the emotional aspect of competing…

    Hmm..it'd help if post a vid. One of the breathroughs I had with these was finding my center/tipping point. In a headstand position instead of kicking up, I began "walking" my toes  as close to my body as possible, allowing for hips to line up with my shoulders. From there I would tilt my pelvis back ever so slightly until my feet are juuust hovering off the ground. Then you get to the point where you can have them about 1 foot off the ground. From there you find your balance by tucking in your legs and bringing them in line with hips and shoulders. Did that make sense?haha

    Head/hand/elbow/shoulder stands all take a LOT of core strength and balace. Practice practice!

    MrsNaughty- were you in the porn industry?! I always wondered what that'd be like!!!

    I have a few girlfriends that were/are strippers that are in it primarily for the flexible hours as they have children or school. The one in particular is VERY intelligent. She is one of the veterans on stripperweb. I would definitely head over there to get more info, too!

    Stripping is one of those things that I've always wanted to do. I wish I would have done it -even for a short period of time- just to see what it's like. My boyfriend says he'd be cool with it…but I know him well enough to know he soo would not.     I love this site because it is an amazing tool for pole dancers everywhere to unite. I don't like to hear people use the word "trashy" when referring to SV. Veena and Webby work very hard to maintain the utmost professionalism and they do a damn fine job. Nudity is one thing, but nips and booty?? My booty is ALWAYS hanging out of my pole shorts because- well- it happens. I don't purposely flaunt it (maybe sometimes 😉 but it happens. Same goes for nip. I have somewhat large breasts and there's no containing these puppies when I'm inverted haha But seriously- I'm not offended by these beautiful womens' bodies. As for the sensual photos- I think that's one of the beautful things about pole. It IS sexy. No matter what pose, no matter what you're wearing. It's SEXY!! and I love that.

    As Jhenn said- sorry you feel this way. you're entitled to your opinion…but I love it here. No matter what photos I deem 'inappropriate'- I understand that pole is an individual art form that should NOT be censored.
