yup… I've had mine up and shifted it a few months ago. The indentation was deep.. so I just left it… its fluffed back up on its own – eventually. 🙂 Its been in its new spot longer that the last, so I'll have to try these techniques before I give the house back to landlord!!!

another option rather than grip aids is to treat the sweaty hands. Pharmacies sell special anti-perspirants which contain aluminium.

They are used at first every other day, and then can be reduced to as an when required. Brand names in the UK are Drichlor, Anhydrol Forte and Perspirex.

This is my first public photo on FB, I used to hide my photos afraid to let people see. Sad to say, I've already had responses from "friends" who have made some degrading remarks and its really upset me. I dont' like the stigma surrounding pole and we shouldn't be coined in a group as a strippers/whores. 

I wish everyone could see that it is an art  form that takes an amazing amount of dedication to achieve the skills!

Only 2 days left, and I hope we can take this as an avenue somehow to show these "friends"  that its not what they think it is, and there are many more out there who love pole as dance/fitness and not the stigma surrounding it! Please help me by voting!

Aww, congratulations! It was well deserved!.. did you choreograph it yourself?

I moved away from the citycentre recently and haven't been able to go back as often. But I do try to head back when I can to catch up with friends I made in class 🙂 
Ooo… yea, it'd be nice to meet in a class again. Did you know they have been holding quite a few workshops with some pole dance champions and pole jams recently?.. may have more down the pipeline.
