What I do in heels is to sit in kind of an attitude position, sweep the free leg all the way around so the toes are pointed coward, while bending my knee slightly so I can get weight on that foot. Meantime I am shifting my hips upward so there by the time I got a leg forward, my center of gravity is close enough to stand using that leg. Then I can do whatever I want with the other. Sounds complicated but I swear it’s easy and pretty!

Hello!!
I’m a newbie to the site, a semi-newbie to pole dance. I came from a strength background but not a grace background, and though I have to work on it harder than some of the other dancers at my studio, it’s getting there. You will be grace and flow epitomized before you know it! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
