At the end of some of my classes I like to let each girl perform. This is a plus. They love this and being able to watch eachother and pick up new ideas.

MemberMarch 16, 2012 at 10:39 am in reply to: Pole Studios with 20+ Poles (Whats Your Opinion?)At my studio… We all know eachother … We don’t share poke but become a support system. I find it weired that ppl don’t become close while taking pole. We don’t share poles but the girls will cheer on the next person for mastering a move and even laugh together and joke when being introduced to new move they think they will never master. I love our little pole community. However, prior to opening I attended a studio where I had to share a pole… Thank God it was with my sister. I definetly didn’t feel like it was worth the hour after doing 30 mins of Abs, waiting for the instructor who played around way to much to choose her favorite song, and other issues. When sharing pole classes should Definetly be longer than an hour. But againg we don’t share poles and this has not effect on the relationships we form, because we are constantly doing things to pull the girls together. We are a little family. #TeamFitKittens

@ninjademochick I will still do floorwork. Thanks for the advice. I’m currently still teaching Zumba.

I am a studio owner and don’t allow it. However, I am expecting now and considering not instructing classes anymore or considering an assistant to demo moves.

Oh… If you are a 6.5 order the while size up. So a 7.

I sell these shoes. Go one size up in boots only. The heels with plastic over the top. Purchase your size and they will stretch with wear. I have also told my clients at my studio to use a blow dryer to loosen the plastic. Hope this helps. I wear a size 9 and order 10 in closed shoes and 9 in open shoes.

Oh and surprisingly we are already in planning to expand the business. 🙂

Just make sure your program also trains you on how to make you business function. I am greatful for the training I went through and will continue to further my education in pole fitness even if it involves taking classes at other studios

MemberAugust 10, 2011 at 12:58 am in reply to: Pole Fitness Location and Pole Fitness Studio InsuranceI am now open and loving it. I have all Xpoles and so far my experience has been great. Most of the people that come into the studio have experinced pole and never are concerned with the type of pole but have a greater focus on technique. I love our pole because we also rent my studio out for other events and workshops to create extra income. So we can take the pole right out.
