Thank you Charley!
The best thing I can recommend is just to read and interview your potential certifications. The more you read the more you’ll learn about what’s available.
Don’t choose something that seems too easy to be any good. Tougher or more rigid is better. Go with someone with a good reputation…so ask around. See what just feels right to you when you talk to them.
As a side note: I ran into someone recently who claimed that they were certified by me and they were not! I’m still dealing with this as they claimed they paid and were certified by someone on the east coast who came to a local fitness studio and offered a workshop then awarded MY certification. Complete with my logo and everything! VERY FRUSTRATING to find that this has happened!
wow-im sorry that happened to you.

The PFA is working on a reference for pole dance certificaiton programs but in the mean time if you google pole dance instructor certification you will find many available…research what they offer and ask them questions.
A good instructor certification will tell you how to open a studio and the business aspects as well as how to teach.
ok kool. but how do i choose? there are so many!
