you know its funny before my pole came i went on a serious hunt for any pole that would be suitable to try some spins on and was pretty disappointed street signs around here are mostly square shaped ( probably bc of peeps like me that see any pole as a chance to play) and the rounded st.signs are too wide. the other day ( now that i have 2 poles in my home) i found a park that has a skinny pole. i also found when first learning spinny thigh high pc boots helped alot. i was able to concentrate on getting comfortable with moves and speed without having to worry about grip so much. hope this helps alittle. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

ok well i just posted januarys challenge last fri and am about to post official feb challenge ( since during 1 attempt i stopped half way and changed songs :roxette: , and in other 1 pole was so slippery couldnt do almost anything ( billy idol) so my official 1 is to paula abduals "cold hearted snake". once i have that posted i am going to have to catch up and do april and mays challenges and finally do may and be caught up! whew! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_exclaim.gif lol. can’t wait to see everyones vids! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

let me put it this way… i know a alot of poeple who are in their 20’s who barely do more than work and watch tv. my grandmother is in her 80’s and still travels the world independently. she golfs, swims, plays tennis ect.

THANK YOU ALL BUNCHES!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif i really aprreciated all the responses and support i got from everyone. i thought about not posting for about a split second, but than i thought i must not be the only 1 feeling this way, plus one of the things i love about the forum is that we can talk about things openly and honestly. it was also great to get some perspective on things. i do see how posting multiple vids in a day can make people less likely to watch them all or respond. someone mentioned that about jungle cats ( which yes by the way where is our JC?) vids and i found it rang true for me too. i watched his vids but when there were 3 or 4 at a time i didnt watch all and ewas less likely to comment bc of time. i just had so much stock piled while i wasnt able topost, but will def be more aware of that. i just wanted to thank everyone who responded and i have already noticed more responses and i really do appreciate them all. i also agree to a point about "generic" compliments like great vid! nice job! ect . it is nice to hear specifics about what you did or didnt like, but i personally appreciate any comment. i am just gratful that the person took the time to comment. thanks again for the encouragment, support, and love! love ya guys!!! **HUGS** https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif
