ok i’m lost. what the hell is scary about this? the scary thing is how close minded some people can be.

wow sorry to hear that happened to you. i also got stitches today. had 2 moles biopisied (my father just had 11 cancerous moles removed and was diagnosed w melanoma in 04 so ..whew..) and have stitches for the next 2 weeks. forgot to ask if it was ok to pole. am worried about messing things up. am dying to jump on pole right now as took the night off. guess am just going to use this time to finally get back to stretching while i let these stitches do their job. don’t worry about the sm. i could not for the life of me get this one and than one night it just clicked (like scorp handstand last night). do you have any vids of you trying the move? have you tried from the floor? can you do an inverted thigh hold? sometimes easier than doing it from gemini.

ok have been confused. been mixing up handspring w cartwheel. so anyway doesnt matter bc got closer than ever to "handspring" (actually cartwheel) this morning! yay! so if cartwheel is where you kick your leg back and turn hips than yes i got close today. i was actually able to hook my ankle this time! wasnt able to go into butterfly or anything, but still first time didnt just kick up and come right back down! am going to keep practicing getting ankle hooked til can learn to get the levearge to go into butterfly. so i guess i am doing ok w handspring after all (where you kick up in front and go into butterfly or whatever. can get into butterfly into scorpio flatline combo from half-handspring. just have to keep working at it till can get my body to go into straight edge or whatever. speaking of actually getting comfortable little by little w split grip aysha/straight edge so guess feeling pretty good (esp compared to the other day..even got spinning chopper this morn..had TERRIBLE night/morn at work so came home and took out the aggression wanted to unleash on someone at work and just threw myself to the mercy of the pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif . seems to be the only time i can nail spinning chop is when i’m angry! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif

i was excited to see this thread. just got done w an ok practice and feeling a little down as seem to be losing some moves i was starting to get (forearm aysha, spinning chopper ect) bc have’nt been motivated lately to push myself. i love making lists of goals so thought i could use this as an inspiration to come up w some new pole goals myslef.

no this is it. have been waiting for months to get help loading vids onto laptop. none of the cables have ordered or were told would fit by best buy or even sony.com (camera is sony and put in model number ect and still get wrong cable..ugh)

finally posted something for may challege. this was recored before may but had these 2 songs on dvd (flo rida starts like half way in and time of season starts and gets cut off bc had friend do in a hurry) will be getting the piece i need to attatch to cam to make it compatiable w laptop soon (now that i know i need it and not just cables) so will be able to start posting new (hopefully better) stuff. theses vids show ALOT of booty https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif so am only keeping up for 4-6wks tops (that s when my part order said it should be here and can start w others)
