sometimes i get like that too, but take a minute and think of things you could dop to get yourself "in the mood " so to speak. could you change the lighting? maybe try a blacklight or christmas string lights. can you put on something that makes you feel like dancing? sometimes i feel sexy in undies and a mens white ribbed tank, sometimes it’s a swirly dress and red stilettos. just depends on my vibe that night. have you chosen a stage name? what persona would you like to convey when you dance, shy, but sexy, powerful, mysterious, sensual, cocky?? it’ll be easier to pick a name if you decide you what part of you you want to explore with your dancing. if you have a very stressful job w high demands, you may want to play a more submissive, sweet, maybe shy girl next door type thing and you know a name like velvet sin isn’t going to help you get into that character. or vice versa and you want to explore your more take charge, rebelious side, you can imagine a name like bambi suger isn;t going to fit that persona…

cold and low humidity makes my pole exra slippery. def have to get your pole nice and warm with you hands when its cold to get a better grip. i do alot of walking around, pole massages w hip rolls, basic spins, ect til the pole is nice and warm. also have found for me using sprite or other clear soda gets the pole clean and slippery. i use flat soda (just open and leave cap off) bc i worry the soda might damage the coating otherwise. i dont use this often, but when nothing else is working.. i also have used latex gloves for grip. really cant spin like this unless in spinny mode, but great for trying to get rubber pencil, extended butterfly, handspring ect ( i almost got into butterfly 1st time this morn from handspring!)
there are also grip aids. i believe roxy-pink had done a review on grip aids.

sorry if this was already answered, but
1 do you have to do the list in order?
2 can the spins be combo spins?
3 is the invert suppouse to be like go directly into an inverted pose and hold for 3 secs and come down or can you do like crucifix to scorp hold than do maybe geemini before coming down?

ok so not trying DL just yet, but would like to build into it by getting into superman fron shoulder mount. any advice on this. i am very comfortable with both SH. Mt. and Sman, but dont seem to get into a position where i can end in SM when doing sh mt. i get into superman from gemini, thigh hold or split grip aysha..

I’m in Mass but the closest 1 is an hr away (1 way). I am trying (but not getting very far as do’nt really know where to start looking..) to start classes here. i can def teach beginner/intermediate https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_study.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_batman.gif (my most adv. moves would be things like superman -> chopper, shoulder mount -> crucifix, split grip aysha -> superman ect.). i was thinking of trying to do pole parties, but again am a little lost as to where to even start the legal stuff (insurance, permits??) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif
if you really can’t find anything nearby, i would def recommend getting veena’s lessons (they’re viewed on-line and are available 24/7) esp now that she’s going to be adding more. i have taken a total of 4 classes and the rest was self-taught w videos, dvds, V’s lessons, and trial n error. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif

thanks veena! ya i was worrying since went to derm in april and was told to have the moles removed. didnt have insurance, so had to wait till just now to have biopsies (have good but not very affordable insurance now). i am just soooo relieved and made some new vids to celebrate.
