nope mine was at my house in just over a week, although the shipping company still showed in "in transit" about 3 weeks later.

If I would have known you wanted to see it I could have brought my copy up with me then you could have just sent it back or brought it back to me at pole jam.

we had that problem with mine when we first mounted it, that coupled with my heavier then reccomended niece brought it down. When we put it back up what we did was mount a piece of wood to the ceiling THEN mounted the pole to the wood. Did that about 2 years ago and it has been steady as a rock since on my vaulted ceiling.

It was a great week-end! Back home here in KY now with tons of things to work on, hopefully my x-pole will be here in a few days so I can use it instead of my slippery little minx.
Charley you did a great job setting everything up, and I think it all was a great success! And Congrats on that new cert! hopefully I can test out for mine in August although I have a bad feeling work is about to start kicking my butt!
Karol is a sweetheart, and very fun to work with!
It was so much fun meeting so many pole crazy ladies, and getting to watch them in action.

I have done a bit of both. Mostly self taught with a few lessons thrown in here and there. I know I would have progressed further faster and not taught myself some bad habits had I taken more lessons. The only reason I didn’t was because until a couple of months ago there was no studio here locally which meant only taking lessons while traveling.
This is my "summer of pole" tons of lessons and workshops. I’m either going to be a teacher at the end or hang up my stiletto’s.

5’5 and 150ish and struggling to be thinner. grrr. have a hard time finding jeans that fit me too, in this city they seem not to believe in stocking Talls. I have to have talls in order not to look like I’m preparing for the next flood.
Typical Italian I’m heavier on the bottom half as well even when I was thin I had a butt. I never poled when I was younger and thinner though so have no comparisons there. And I would kill to have a flat tummy again.

one of my bosses knows about November, he isn’t the one that makes my schedule, but one I have to work with at night. I told him because it is a blackout time at work and I warned him (because I like him and he actually appreciates me as a worker) that I was going in November, if I was told no, like I was for our family trip this past april that I would be quitting because this trip is paid for (or will be by that time) he doesn’t think it will be a problem, however as I said he is not the one that makes my schedule. lol well in order for me to dance the pole has to be there, the right song has to come on and then I need to feel that magnetic pull from the pole…..
