I do like the ones that have some faster in a slow song so you can let fly with some fast spins and such as well! one of my Favs is Evil by Matt Goss.

It really depends on my mood. Usually though my best dances are either Burlesque style or very slow sexy music. to me harder music calls for more tricks and I'm not really a trickster.

Try hammock 🙂 I'm scared of heights and find that because I'm sort of locked into the fabric more with the hammock that I'm not afraid like I am on silks.

I did silks lessons for a bit , mostly hammock which I love and yes it is a great strength builder for pole! I however can't do regular silks well since like with pole I have a hard time climbing 🙁  I also recently thanks to a Fairymoon got to try lyra. Instant love. I also do hooping for core.

I agree with the if you don't have a partner to wear them for post vids so we can admire them.

I'm lucky my spouse loves helping me pick out poling outfits and is pretty darn good at it too and appreciates them.

depends on how many they let in the workshops…if there is 40-50 people in each one I'd pass. I can't get the page to come up to see how many they limit to.

the pole I most like playing on is a brass one that I doubt is over 7ft tall but on a nice smooth floor. I'd rather dance on it for 15 minutes then spend 2 hours on my one here in the house that is closer to 9 ft tall on carpet. and I dance on the short one in 8 inch heels with no problem, including inverts, climbs, laybacks. Maybe I'm comfortable that way because until this year I couldn't climb more then a scooch or two anyway lol .

after having 100's of rug burns from dancing on carpet I'd put it on hardwood. But a lot of that depends on what sort of dancer you are, if you are an aerialist you might want it taller. I spend a lot of time on the floor or would like to, but get tired of the carpet burns. I'm also a person who likes to dance in heels which is hard to do on carpet. and ouch if you do a foot drag sexy walk barefoot ….

if you want the best of both worlds pull up the carpet or make a platform on the carpet. Which is what we are getting ready to do because I HATE carpet after dancing on it for 4 years.
