I agree with PDR, I'm a 7.5 and in pleasers like an 8 as they run a tish small. Ellies, I like a 7 and penthouse I like a 7.

and I priced having a hoop shipped from here to NC (before I started making my collapsable ones) and it was going to be 50 to ship it 🙁 and I live the the hub of ups!

I'm actually really interested to see what it would cost for shippping not because I want the pole but I know 4 years ago it cost me about 75 to have one shipped from New York to Kentucky. Although that was with the shipping people boxing it not the person I got it from.

I have the vaulted adapter for both my mynx and my xpole. Its the vaulted adapter for the mynx that ripped up the ceiling. We fixed it by putting wood between the ceiling and the mount. It has been like that for several years and was solid. Although it didn't get a ton of use because I never could do much on the mynx.

"I've heard problems with the LM ruining ceilings after time…I believe Charley also had that problem."
I had that problem too, we had to put a piece of wood up so it wouldn't eat through the ceiling tiles.

make sure your taking any sort of pressure mounted pole down every few weeks to let your ceiling and floor settle. Although I will confess my mynx was up for over 4 years mainly because I couldn't get it down. Now its under the futon
-
Yes it only takes me less then a minute to get it down, if I want to take it totally apart and pack away its about 5. And I have been there for set up and take down for Empy studio and its true she gets the 4 poles down in no time at all.
On a side note, you should take ANY pressure mounted pole, be it mynx or x or PS down every few weeks to let your ceiling and floor settle.

I've had mine for over 4 years and it was used and used heavily before I got it and and haven't had a problem with the pole itself. The fact that I find it slippery isn't structural.
-
I put up and take down my x pole by myself and it takes less the 5 minutes to take it down, disasseble and pack it away. I don't have the top loader though so no chair required.
My minx was horrible to take down and I doubt it will ever go back up.

even in Jamaica I didn't sweat while poling lol so I own no products geared towards sweaty skin.

just going to pipe in here for a minute…"pricey but at least we will be safe" mats do not make you safe, you make yourself safe by not doing things beyond where you are. Now that said mats are nice to have so if you do have an opps hopefully you don't get hurt. But just because they are there don't feel like oh I can try that because I have mats I'm safe.

I like Itac on the pole. Dew point on body and HANDS. yes I know it says not to put it on your hands but my hands are so dry specially in winter if I don't then I crack and bleed. Sometimes I use corn huskers lotion on hands and body. Just depends on the weather and skin conditions lol.

when I want tons of grip on my legs I just use my thigh high pleasers 🙂 although have gotten stuck upside down in them. I mainly use them when I know I'm going to be doing new tricks over and over like at a workshop. I wore them when I did 4 back to back Karol Helms workshops for the 3rd workshop because my legs were getting brusied and sore.
I hae dry skin and used to try a bunch of the grip aids but now I tend to make sure I mosturize well a little bit before poling with a non greasy lotion and my favorite grip aid is because it makes my skin moist.

While I'm not a Dr, I would say since an IUD is a blocking device as opposed to a altering chemical it should be fine. I know there have been issues with oral BC just like there is with antibotics.
