I've noticed about a 2-3 inch progression on my splits now that I went from stretching everyday to doing V's routine twice a week, waaay more flexible when I don't stretch everyday.

Sorry I didn't realize you were in Australia! Google 'cornhuskers lotion' and you can order it online 🙂
-
Nicolb-Corn huskers is a 'lotion' in a really old fashioned bottle lol, it moisturizes and makes your skin dewey so that you stick to the pole better, it's not greasy like regular lotion. Walgreens has it, probably Wal-Mart as well. Aviva- it could be the weather, it's humid down here…and haaawt too 🙂
-
The lotion is your prob, I have psoriasis so I feel ya on the itchy dry skin but it's a no go with a chrome pole. Skip the lotion and try cornhuskers instead, that works for me.
-
I use itac on my hands, and it tends to transfer to the pole and make it somewhat sticky as well, I also sometimes rub a tiny bit on the insides of my thighs…don't wear any lotion either, a little cornhuskers will give a little bit of 'stickiness'. Are you sweating? Some ppl use tite grip if sweat is the problem…
-
I'm in!! Although my splits suuuuuuck lol…
-
Ugh, I use itac but a little goes a long way…and it doesn't sound like the poles get cleaned, it def shouldn't be black : / Have you tried Veena's lessons? I'm on my last day of my free trial but am going to get the year subscription. Also, emotioncatcher has some good tutorials on youtube that are free although the Veena lessons are a little easier for me, she explains more thoroughly…

you know you can order one off of this site right? The shipping is super cheap and you have the peace of mind knowing it's real…

Congrats on your soon-to-be boobies! I've only been poling for two years but I've had my implants for going on ten. When I got them I was on the rowing team in college and was competing in fitness competitions. My Dr. cleared me after two weeks for lower body exercise and I believe it was only a month for upper. Don't let some of the stories on here freak you out, if you have a good Dr. you should have no probs and during your time off you can go bra shopping 😉

MemberMarch 26, 2012 at 1:29 pm in reply to: Whats YOUR Opinion On the Trayvon/Zimmerman StoryAccording to the news last night there are now four agencies investigating the shooting….the 'stand your ground' law here in FL is very open to interpretation and needs to be re-worked. There was a gang shooting in Tallahassee a couple years back and no one was charged in that situation either because of this vague ill-worded law, it's essentially giving people the right to pick a fight and then kill because they felt 'threatened'. Hopefully our dipstick Governor Rick Scott will take action : /

Its probably going to be really dark…post a pic when you’re done, good luck!

I myself have been through this, take a breath it's not that bad. Your hair won't fall out if you bleach it again although there is a very good chance of it breaking off because it will dry it out. Either way, do not double process it (bleach it twice) You can put hair dye over it but the hair is now very porous and will soak up the hair dye quickly, so you may only want to only leave it on for 5-10 minutes, and it will come out way darker than what's on the box (although it will lighten). You can also take an extra step and get a protein filler from a beauty supply store and add that to your dye, it will help the color adhere. When you're done deep condition, this will lift the color slightly (brown dye will look almost black when putting it on bleached hair). If you want to stick with blonde your only safe option at this point is to suck it up and go to a pro. I went to the Paul Mitchell school here in Tampa and they fixed mine beautifully for $40, and they're supervised so youre safe as far as that goes (beauty schools love fixing hair disasters lol). As far as dying it brown if you go to a pro they will first put the red tones back in your hair before the brown (hair naturally has these tones) and there is the danger of your hair turning bluish without adding them back, but I have never had that problem. Good luck! You'll be alright 🙂

@Sparrow, I think what Empyrean was trying to say was like this; I'm 5'6, therefore even if in spectacular physical condition I will never be able to dunk a basketball. This physical attribute alone will prevent me. So we could sit here and have a philosophical discussion and ponder every single move and the what if's or we could just keep it real. It is what it is, and if a comment like that gets to someone that bad maybe they need to invest in some self esteem building activities. I highly doubt the instructor was trying to be mean, this isn't kindergarden.

I never thought about a metal allergy, I had my nose pierced years back and it never seemed to fully heal, was just like you're describing. I eventually gave up and took it out but I bet that's what it was…thanks for the insight I never thought of that, good to know.

I was an athlete in college and got critiqued all the time, I had enough self esteem that it never got to me in the slightest. I also don't think this woman would be in a class if she was hypersensitive, thickness can be super sexy.

The full size Clarisonic can be taken into the bath/shower too, I do mine but double-checked to be sure and they say it can 🙂 If you get it from Sephora they give you a bunch of samples of the different cleansers for it too.
-
I've used the Clarisonic for about three years…love it. I use pHisoderm cleanser with it, it's similar to the one that Clarisonic recommends.

@LovesIt–Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber, lol I'm cracking up, that made my day! In high school I got 'layers' at a beauty school and my hair ended up looking like Carol Brady (think fem-mullet), I cried for like a week so I know how all y'all ladies feel, a bad do can really put you in a funk.
